P.Santullo and S.Koulieris each score twice as Demons rout Sportek 6-0

With goal scoring not being an issue, the Fatal Demons also defended well to defeat Sportek on Sunday night. M.Trivisonno denied all 21 shots he faced to earn a shutout. The Fatal Demons didn't pull away up until the third period where they buried half of their goals. Captain P.Santullo and S.Koulieris showed their touch bagging two goals each while J.Bolanakis and E.Medrano scored as well. Both teams played with a depleted line up which favored the more experience side. The win improves the Fatal Demons to a 2-1 record and will hope to improve it by next week where they'll take on a familiar rival in Team Cuba.

(2)Wild Dogs vs Shockers(10)

Captain J.Blackman nets four in blowout win over Wild Dogs

After jump starting his night with the first goal of the game, J.Blackman polished it off striking for a fourth time by the eleven minute mark of the third period. The Shockers will continue to put up these kinds of numbers almost on a regular basis with so much fire power up front. Unless teams figure out a way on how tighten up, than this type of result is to be expected. TheW ild Dogs saw it firsthand playing on their heels for most of the night. They did however manage a pair of tallies by F.Nasser and C.Beaudin, but that was all they got by D.Bourque.

(7)Lynx vs Brew Crew(2)

Lynx starting to turn heads

Its only three games in and the division are starting to notice the Lynx. Anytime a team scores 20 goals and allows only four is simply because they have an all around game. Tonight, they shredded the Brew Crew, a team that normally doesn't concede too many for their stingy styled game .But in defense of the losing side, many of their key players were out of action just like the Lynx which made the playing field fair for the two teams. The win came with the help of their captain J.Lang and D.Zabitsky as both players each scored twice. S.Catalano was also a factor denying every Brew Crew player except for S.Lodico that beat him on both occasions. Now that things are looking good, the Lynx will face their ultimate challenge next week against the Shockers. If both sides have all their players, than the winner can feel confident that they are the front runners heading into the post season down the line.

(7)Team Cuba vs Les Immigrant(4)

Unlikely hero provides offense for Team Cuba

On most occasions goals tend to come-from your forwards, especially with some of the players Team Cuba have to their lineup. But not in tonight's case as one particular defenseman led all players in the goal scoring department. D.Ramada had a memorable night posting a hat trick that included a very key tally that came in the dying moments of the second period. By then, Les Immigrant were up 4-3 up until Ramada beat the buzzer to level the match. For two straight periods, Les Immigrants played a spectacular game with their nonstop for checking and excellent hard work. Unfortunately, they couldn't hold off long enough as Team Cuba ignited three unanswered markers by the third to pull it off. It wasn't their most convincing win but a result nevertheless.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Danny Ramada of Team Cuba. His three blistering slap shots helped his club get over some difficult moments versus les Immigrant.
