From the initial ball drop the Stones set the tone of the game using the offense and pushing their opponents to remain in their zone for a large amount of time. T. Settino took care of half the scoring for his club notching two of them. The National did fight back in the second with goals from M. Fritz and S. Laplante but their luck ran out. The Stones decided to shut things down and play strong defensively for the remainder of the game to resist to any possible comeback.

Devil Dawgz (3) VS Bijoux (4)
Bijoux comes out prepared to show off that they mean business.
We can only assume what was said in the locker room during Bijoux one hour break, but captain K. Pimentel must not have been happy of his clubs performance in the previous matchup. The Devil Dawgz had a good start of the game scoring two first period goals but Bijoux slowly responded and scored two quick goals to start the third with the help of P. Charbonneau and M. Grilo. J. Beaudry did the rest to secure the win shutting the door the rest of the way in the third and insure the one goal lead was enough for the result.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jonathan Beaudry of Bijoux. After a tough first contest the veteran netminder came back strong and stopped over 30 shots to secure his team an important win.
