Lynx face stern test against high octane Shockers

The Shockers looked to extend their perfect record carrying a 3-1 third period lead, but then came the skid, and the loss in what was their toughest challenge so far. The Lynx upped its already formidable game by the third where they dismantled the Shockers with five goals. P.Stroubakis may have changed the direction by netting his second in a shorthanded situation. That tally only sparked and fueled his club to push the pace which resulted in Stroubakis's hat trick. While the Lynx are glad to pick up this win, the Shockers may take this loss as a blessing in disguise. Sometimes it takes a crushing defeat to learn-from your mistakes. The Shockers didn't tighten up when it was time giving up too many goals in only one period.

(2)Wild Dogs vs Sportek(4)

D.Vitale riffles a pair, Sportek double up Wild Dogs

Sportek have been rolling as of late thanks to timely scoring and tight defense, especially the brand exhibited against the Wild Dogs on Sunday night. D.Vitale scored two key goals and M.Chamoun was stellar making 23 saves. The only player to get the better of him was J.Haddad. The Wild Dogs forward figured out the net minder twice with the help of M.Leduc's two helpers. Sportek responded strong after trailing 1-0 with the games next four goals. During that span, C.Flikas made plenty happen setting up two tallies while providing the fourth goal for his club.

(8)Brew Crew vs Les Immigrant(0)

D.Campanella feasts with four goals, Muccino denies Les Immigrant

It took only four minutes and both teams knew where this game was headed. The Brew Crew opened things up by the ten minute mark of the opening frame where D.Campanella struck twice before setting up P.Karigiannis for his first of two on the night. With that kind of lead, the only thing left over was how much more would the Brew Crew put behind A.Zardarian. Amazingly enough, D.Campanella wasn't done yet. Out of their eight total goals, the forward had his hand in on all of them finishing with an impressive eight point performance. And while the offense was far-from being an issue, the Brew Crew also dominated the opposite side of the court where C.Muccino collected his second shutout of the season.

Team Cuba feels the heat by the third

The Fatal Demons poured on four third period goals to outlast Team Cuba on Sunday night. Part of that frenzy is attributed to K.Araujo, who sparked two straight tallies to put his club up 4-3.Still, the game wasn't out of reach for Team Cuba who eventually endured a sinking feeling when J.Bolanakis widened the margin with less than four minutes to go.  Team Cuba did battle back on a goal-from S.Robineault, but it proved to be a little too late as P.Paikopoulos took advantage of a yawning cage. S.Koulieris set the tone in the first half riffling two straight goals for the Fatal Demons while providing a helper early in the third period.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Daniel Campanella of the Brew Crew. The Brew Crew forward tore it up on Sunday night participating in all eight goals that included four markers.
