First place Underdogs earn another two wins but do not make their lives easy.

As the Underdogs continue their quest to earn the first-place position in the league, the needed to beat Walking Tall to continue with their dominance but they did not make their life easy. The Underdogs proved in the first game that with a solid defensive game and a opportunistic offence that they could capitalize when needed. M. Boutros and F. Nasser were the sole players to solve F. Gaudet-Peloquin. While C. Malkoun was perfect on his end stopping all seventeen shots he faced. The second game did not come as easy to the Underdogs as Walking Tall seemed to have found an answer to their offensive troubles keeping the game extremely close. As B. Cabral and F. Nasser each combined for three points a piece for the Underdogs. While on the other side J R. Lemay and D. O. Trinque were finally able to solve C. Malkoun.

Each team exchanges wins as Mighty Drunks wake up in a big way for their second game.

The 1 Timers showed a lot of energy in the first game coming off strong and taking advantage of the Mighty Drunks. The 1 Timers capitalized on their chances scoring once in each period. S. Lebel and M. Carpentier were the two players to solve M. Melo. While F. Koch was solid on his side turning away the multiple offensive weapons and chances the Mighty Drunks threw his way. As the second game started it seemed the tides were changing as the Mighty Drunks were finding their legs and solutions to their offensive issues. While the Mighty Drunks used a team effort to capitalize on their chances and scoring five goals against F. Koch.

Punishers outduel a very strong offensive team and keep them in check during the entire night.

The game plan for the night was to play a solid defensive game from the Punishers and to limit any potential offense the Hustlers may have produced on this night. As the Punishers executed their game plan to a tee it finally showed on the scoreboard, as the Punishers won both games with a large margin. In the first game J. Fridilis was the offensive star his club needed scoring two goals and setting up one of his teammates for the third tally. The second game did not much different as the Punishers continued their strong play and continued to use a game plan that worked. A. Sarrigiannis and A. Centis each tallied a pair of goals to beat A. Kakivelis while on the other side B. Vassilakis was the sole bright spot for his club beating P. Stamkopoulos twice.

Jokers wake up late secure much needed point.

The Degenerates can welcome new addition P. Paikopoulos with open arms tonight as the talented defenceman made the difference in the first game. D. Vespa was able to see first hand how much his blistering slapshot makes the difference. The Jokers tried to fight back from an early deficit, but it was to late as time ran out. The second match was much tighter as the Jokers took an early one goal lead by C. Daoud and shut the door the rest of the way. But the defensive efforts were not quite enough as G. Cardillo ties the game late in the second period to send this to a shoot out. The Jokers can thank S. Longo and G. Angelo who were each capable of beating R. Ranieri to secure the win.

The SalumiVinoplayer of the night goes to the Christian Malkoun of the Underdogs. The talented netminder only allowed two goals in a very busy night, where he faced multiple scoring chances and a late push from his opponent.
