CBHA Board of Directors Announced

There was more than enjoying the atmosphere of the first CBHA National Championships ever in Saskatoon, SK for some ball hockey people at Nationals this year.  Delegates from across Canada arrived early for the CBHA AGM to plan for the year ahead.

At the AGM election's were held with President Shelley Callaghan of Ontario and CBHA Minor`s VP, Lisa Vendrasco being elected for their second term.  In addition, the following new Board members were elected:.

Western Region VP - Jason Eapen, Alberta
Men`s VP - Rudy Leopp, Manitoba
Eastern Region VP - Steve Power, Newfoundland
CBHA Secretary - Sandy Upper, British Columbia

These 6 will join Treasurer, Jorge Sylvester of BC, Women`s VP Sara Hayward of New Brunswick and International VP Tony Iannitto of Quebec to be the nine person BOD for the CBHA.

Stepping down from the BOD after 3 years was Connie Liosis of Alberta who served one year as Men’s VP and 2 years as Western Region VP and Jason Biaini of New Brunswick who served 2 years as Men’s VP. We thank them for all their time and dedication as members of the BOD.

The CBHA wishes the CBHA Board of Directors great clarity and vision as they lead our sport forward in the days and months ahead.
