D.Traversy had the most posting four tallies while A.Zarzour netted a pair for the Werewolves. J-F Belanger and J.Farrese each scored twice for the French Connection, but it was Farrese’s second goal that decided the outcome. The French Connection nearly let this one slip away carrying a 7-5 lead with only 15 seconds left on the clock. K.Miraldo and A.Zarzour each scored late to force the overtime. Luckily enough, J.Farrese had the final say or else the French Connection would have had a very hard time digesting the loss.

Chiefs use third period to down Deadlast
For two straight periods, both teams had no idea where this game was going. Each side played to a low scoring 1-1 tie and struggled to get a go ahead marker until the final 15 minutes of play. The Chiefs started the period strong with a goal by P.Charbonneau. That helped loosen the legs by the Chiefs as they just got better with time. P.Scotti widened the margin by two and P.Santullo summed up the game moments later with his second of the match. This was a kind of win that the Chiefs needed their net minder to stay sharp. S.Pare allowed only one goal on 25 shots and was a vital reason why his club earned their first win of the season.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Alexis Jalbert of the Street Ballers. In his first game with the Street Ballers, Jalbert scored twice while setting up a goal in a close 4-2 win over the Eagles.
