(6) Capitals vs Smooth Sailors (2)
An intense physical game say the man advantage contribute to the scoring
An evening to forget as both teams racked up the penalty minutes. The Capitals took an early lead to the game scoring midway through the first period. The Smooth Sailors fought back in the second and took advantage of their man advantage scoring twice in the second. J. Richer shut the door the remainder of the game allowing the Capitals to score five unanswered goals by five different players. M-A Morin was the sole player to solve A. Mancini twice.
(2) Bramabulls vs Communists (6)
Early season struggles continue for Bramabulls as they have no answer against the Communist
The Communist took advantage of a fast start scoring two unanswered goals in the first period to take a commanding lead. The Bramabulls fought back early in the second by beating J. Vrettis, but the Communist put their foot back on the pedal to continue the scoring. P. Arkalis and T. Provost-Blais each scored twice for the Communist to put the game away in the third. S. Sacco scored a second goal for his club, but a that point it was to late to mount any sort of comeback.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marc-Alexandre Morin of the Capitals. The forward scored two important goals for his club and help set up another. His strong play helped his club take control of the game near the end of the second and they never look back.
