Masters (35+)
Friday February 3
Hawks (8) VS Devil Dawgz (3)
An interesting game between both clubs offensively, saw THE Hawks take an early lead in the first period scoring three goals. As the club seemed to let their foot off the pedal, the Devil Dawgz fought back in it and tied up the game before the second period ended. A. Moniz was the main contributor of the small comeback scoring two of his club’s goals. As the game was slipping away the Hawks got back into the driver’s seat scoring another four goals to end the night in fashion. The addition of D. Galloro was a big help as the forward scored two goals and helped set up two teammates.
Stones (3) VS HBHA Seniors (6)
What started off as a slow game saw HBHA Seniors take the game by a three-goal margin. Both teams started the game slowly as the each of their defensive game plans worked as the second period ended. As the third period started, each teams game plan quickly changed into an offensive one to see who could score more goals, combining for five goals in fifteen minutes. T. Settino was the sole player to solve C. Stavriadis completing his hat trick near the end of the third period. While on the other G. Kamvosoulis was the sole player to have a multigoal game.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Danny Galloro of the Hawks. The new addition to the team left his mark tonight scoring two goals and helping set up two other teammates.
