P.Nadeau scored a power play goal with less than five minutes remaining to cut it to 4-3, and then J.Scalia riffled his clubs biggest goal minutes later to force the extra time. Prior to the rally, T.Karasek put the Horsemen in a steady position after bagging back to back goals early in the frame. Neither side got it done in overtime and in the shootout. However, S.Hrivnak did tally in the breakaways for the Fat Cats while T.Mader responded to even the score for the Horsemen. The Fat Cats are glad to have taken some points away-from a team with only one loss so far.

The Hellfish scored five straight goals en route to a 6-3 double up victory over the Reapers. Three of those tallies came in the second half of the second period. The Hellfish scored twice with their man advantage that included one of two goals by F.Benhamadi. He didn’t find the back of the net but J.Roblin had plenty to do with the Hellfish’s goals production.The forward helped set up four different team mates. The offense was fairly limited as both goaltenders stole the spotlight in this contest. F.Vigliotti was stellar expect for one whole minute when M.Deninno and N.Richer-Bond scored late in the second period for Les Raymonds. On the other side of the court, A.Mancini was just as solid. P.Gomez and D.Ugaldez were the only two players to beat the lanky net minder. After a scoreless third period and overtime frame, both sides tried their luck in the shootout. The only success came-from G.Cerroni of Latin Blue. The forward came through notching the lone tally to give his club the slight edge. Les Raymonds managed to capture a key point against a team that started to get hot with three straight wins.

The RBK Knights, who took it in the chin on Saturday afternoon, are starting to run out of time. Of course it didn’t help that they had to face off against a team that’s been very consistent all season long. But no matter who the opponent, it’s the end results that are required. The RBK Knights felt like they were playing in quick sand unable to generate much in the goal scoring department. The United Arms only got on board as of the second period, but once they did, there was no stopping them. Y.Derohannessian was the master mind behind it all. The swift forward carried the play resulting in one goal and four perfect passes. This loss forces the RBK Knights to capture points in at least two out of their three games remaining.
