(4)Knights vs Buckshot's(5) O.T

P.Legatos scores twice including OT winner to sink Knights

P.Legatos's big game helped the Buckshot's edge out the Knights in extra time. His two goals couldn't have come at a better moment. With the Buckshot's trailing 3-2 early in the second period, Legatos wasted no time for a quick response. The Buckshot's were hoping to run out the clock being up 4-3 with less than four minutes remaining but couldn't close it out due to S.Ruggiero's hot hand. The Knights forward had another one of his trademark performances posting three out of his clubs four goals. Unfortunately, they just couldn't fuel off it long enough as P.Legatos seized the moment in overtime.

(4)UD Redz vs Bramabulls(6)

Bramabulls nearly done up until late rally

For much of the contest, this was the template the UD Arez had been searching for. Then, the final three minutes arrived. Instead of celebrating a hard fought match against a team like the Bramabulls, the UD Redz were left to stew over a swift series of events that saw two points vanish into thin air. The late comeback was led by Y.Derohannessian, who evened the score and J.DeSua following up only a minute later to put the Bramabulls in front for good. That was DeSua's second goal of the match. As much as this result may sting the UD Redz, plenty of good will be taken-from it. And that is they know they can compete with the Bramabulls. R.Abdulahad and his captain J.Constantin did all of the scoring as both players each struck twice in the loss.

Fat Cats big guns load up in rout of Left Wings

Joe Scalia and A.Gentile caused plenty of fits for the Left Wings on Wednesday night. In the second period alone, both players combined for six points with Scalia finding the back of the net on three occasions. Till that point, the Left Wings appeared to have control of the match up 1-0. Clearly, things turned for the worse as they had to battle-from a three goal deficit entering the final fifteen minutes of play. By then, there was no way that the Fat Cats were letting go of the gas pedal. Both sides traded one goal each before K.Hrivnak scored in an empty cage twice to earn a hat trick.

(6)Carnage vs Fat Roy(4)

Carnage oust Fat Roy in third period surge

With the offense finally getting to work, Carnage overcame a 2-0 deficit in the second period before winning the final lap to edge out Fat Roy. Many players stepped up as five different scorers took turns finding the back of the net. G.Gammieri was the first to get the ball rolling for Carnage while setting up T.Ruvo and P.Stroubakis, who netted his second in an empty cage. Even though Fat Roy played a solid first period, they just couldn't contain an immense pressure set forth by Carnage. J.Pantelis did more than his share in the loss scoring once while setting up A.Kefalinos and C.Zafiropoulos.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Joe Scalia of the Fat Cats. In only one period, the Fat Cats sniper did more than his share bagging three goals that helped provide a 5-2 lead heading into the third period.

(5)Mighty Drunks vs Scorpions (3)

Mighty Drunks build big lead in 5-1 rout of Scorpions

It was close while it lasted up until the second period when the Mighty Drunks distanced themselves with two unanswered goals. V.Mancini scored two consecutive tallies before setting up Y.Dube and J-P Bertrand to collect four points. There wasn't much happening for the Scorpions throughout most of the night except for the final moments where they strung two power play markers. M.Cimenelli buried his second with the man advantage for the Scorpions. Another area that the Mighty Drunks are grateful for is their goaltending .O.Caillet remained calm and kept the game out of reach by making the necessary saves.
