Chic Choc shutout Immigrant after settling for draw
After settling for a 3-3 draw, the Chic Choc entered the second game full of confidence to rout Les Immigrant 4-0.There was no question that the Chic Choc deserved the win. Four different players had scored while F.Peloquin shut the door throughout the entire match. J-R Lemay had already riffled a pair in the previous game before adding the winner along with an assist in the second encounter. Les Immigrant got their scoring done-from H.Garabedian, A.Addante and A.Daghlian as all three players combined for six points. With the season winding down, Les Immigrant would have preferred some extra points to the standings rather than settling for only one for how close the race to the playoffs are.

Dragons rebound after opening loss to Yellow T-Shirts
The Yellow T-Shirts may have enjoyed their opening 3-1 win over the Dragons but two victories would have satisfied the appetite for how tight the standings are. Unfortunately, a bad start and a late period breakdown left them settling for only one win instead. The Dragons jumped off to a 4-1 lead in the second encounter which forced the Yellow T-Shirts to open up and take chances. And despite the deficit, this contest wasn't over until the final buzzer rang. N.Katsifolis and T.Bergomi each scored to pull their club within one and all of a sudden the Dragons were feeling the heat. Luckily enough, P.Assadi made some late saves to close out a nail biter. He may not be known for his goal scoring but G.DeStefano had a night to remember striking three times while collecting an assist.

Tocas collect a pair of unexpected points versus LG HC
If the Tocas knew that both their games would go the distance with the LG HC, the paper work would have been prepared and signed for that kind of a deal. To their surprise, both games did go the ultimate distance and the Tocas banked a pair of key points that may help save their season. The first match looked to be wrapped up in regulation time with the LG HC up by a goal, but that was until P.Santullo ripped a bullet top corner giving F.Baratta no chance at all. The shootout however belonged to the LG HC thanks to D.Bertand and E.Girouard scoring on the breakaway attempts. The second contest had a similar occurrence of what just happened, this time with the Tocas leading late in the game. Then, with only two minutes remaining, E.Girouard riffled his second to send the game once more into a shootout. Neither side came out on top as both teams each scored twice. Once again, E.Girouard and D.Bertrand made K.Koch look behind him while S.Marricco and K.Araujo did the same to F.Baratta.
