(9)Capitals vs United Armenians (2)
United Armenians crushed by Capitals in 9-2 rout
The Capitals only started to look serious as of the mid way point of the game. Prior to that moment, this contest was extremely close with the Capitals up only 3-2.Then, the game started to shift and the United Armenians slowly fell apart giving up three tallies just before the second period ended. T.Bertin dressed for a first time this season and wasted no time making an immediate impact with three consecutive markers. M-A Bernier chipped in with a pair while setting up the games last four goals. Most areas of the game favoured the Capitals, who had a 37-20 shot advantage. The United Armenians got their lone tallies-from Y.Derohannessian and E.Mavroudis as the only two players to figure out C.Fortin.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marc-Andre Bernier of the Capitals. In almost every instance that the Capitals scored, M-A Bernier had his hand in on it accumulating a total of six points.

(7)GK vs River Rats(1)
GK score 4 in third to pull away
While things started off tight between the two, the third period belonged only to the GK. P.DiGiacomo's early third period goal deflated the River Rats, who found themselves trailing 4-1 from-that point. Clearly the GK were much more superior dominating many aspects of the game. Offensively, Terrance was the only player to score twice while M.Fortin took care of the back end stopping all but one shot. This result definitely wasn't what the River Rats were expecting. M.Richard may have scored but wasn't pleased on what he got-from his teammates. Unless they address key aspects of their game, the River Rats will continue to struggle.
