(7)Knights vs Carnage(5) S.O
J-M Loiseau nets hat trick and shootout winner for Knights
J-M Loiseau made an impact as he scored three goals and added the winner in the shootout to give the Knights a feel good victory to cap off their season. Loiseau's hat trick was by far the highlight of a game that featured plenty of back and forth action. Even though Carnage fell short, they'll still have plenty to take-from the loss after mounting a massive third period comeback. C.Moutafis was largely responsible for sending the game into extra time by striking twice while adding a helper. After a scoreless sudden death frame, the Knights prevailed in the shootout. J-M Loiseau and S.Ruggiero each scored while S.Sauk stood firm denying two attempts.
(6)Mighty Drunks vs Bramabulls(4)
Y.Dube and Mighty Drunks end Bramabulls perfect season
Its perhaps not the right time to suffer a first defeat with the playoffs just around the corner, but the Bramabulls wont be too concerned with this particular loss. Both teams entered the contest with plenty of missing players, especially the Bramabulls who had all but one player to change with. Regardless the situation, the Mighty Drunks went about their business and showed that they can compete with the division's giant. Out of their six goals, Y.Dube tore down the opposition's defense riffling four markers. The Bramabulls hung in there for nearly the entire game up until Dube's late marker sealed the outcome.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to J-M Loiseau of the Knights. J-M Loiseau delivered an impressive performance rattling off three goals along with the shootout winner.
The F division regular season came to an end on Wednesday night. With only one regular season loss, the Bramabulls will take on the fourth place Carnage. The other match up will feature the Mighty Drunks squaring off against the Knights.
(1)Bramabulls vs Carnage(4) There is no doubt the Bramabulls will be the heavy favorites. And while they'll do their part, it will be up to Carnage to play a near perfect series. F.Pace has plenty to figure out and will need for all his players to buy into a system in hopes of having a chance.
(2)Mighty Drunks vs Knights(3) In a series that could go either way, the Mighty Drunks have shown more consistency throughout the regular season. The Knights will most likely be busier on their own end of the court which will leave them no choice for S.Sauk to steal the show.
