Orient use quick starts to secure a pair of wins over Bad Guys Inc

The playoffs are only a week away, but it feels like they’ve already started for the Orient. Dominant at the start, and disciplined throughout the entire night, the Orient dictated and controlled the games much to their liking. E.Harnois, no doubt had an influence in the first win collecting four points that included two goals. The Bad Guys Inc had some bad early reads and were forced to chase the game against a team that was opportunistic with their chances. They had a second shot at getting it right but suffered the same outcome despite a much closer score. The Orient, again jumped out in front early which enabled them to control the pace. Hadi Khanafer broke a 1-1 first period tie and the Orient simply relied on tight defense along with exceptional goaltending-from T.Chouinard.

M.Melo sharp in double shutout wins for Punishers

They held their own for a while, but there was only so much the Nature Boys could have done to slow down the Punishers. Eventually, the offense began lighting the lamp and M.Melo had enough of a comfortable lead to preserve his cage. J.Fidrilis picked up three goals in the second game while P.Karvouriaris was right behind his captain netting a pair. The Nature Boys did have some good looks making the ball move while generating some decent shots on net only to hit a focused net minder. They’ll have only a day to put this one behind them and focus on an opponent within there division.

Bad Guys Inc get slight edge over Degenerates

The Degenerates are playing like a team ready for what’s looming ahead. They just came off a hard fought battle a week ago vs the Punishers and felt up for the challenge to take on a team like the Bad Guys Inc. And after going toe to toe in what ended in a draw, both sides played to another hard fought battle only to see it decided towards the end of the game. An unfortunate penalty led to S.Archambault capitalising on the power play for the Bad Guys Inc. Despite the Degenerates attempts at evening the score, the Bad Guys Inc made sure to not give much room out there. They played it smart and tough while relying on S.Morante, who did just enough to merit the win. This was an overall good result for the two teams. The Bad Guys Inc played earlier on and had to adjust by taking on a fresher team while the Degenerates know that they can compete with anyone.

Prolific Athletes answer back after lopsided defeat

The Prolific Athletes started fast, got a pair of quick goals-from M.Dalpe and went on to settle the score after a thumping earlier loss to the Classics. All they needed was a momentum changer and M.Dalpe along with the rest of his club provided it on five quick goals. They know the Classics defense doesn’t give much but were able to dissect it. The 5-0 lead appeared to be enough despite plenty of time left over. And as much of a comfortable cushion it was, the Classics weren’t going down that easily. Luckily enough for the Prolific Athletes, time was barely on their side as they pulled it off when Dalpe completed his hat trick in an empty cage. A.Zarzour led the charge when the Classics looked defeated by participating in four of the five goals that saw Y.Derohannessian benefit twice.
