Armos put a good fight to even series after dropping opener to Fatal Demons
That’s what you get when you give up three straight goals in a short span of only four minutes. The Fatal Demons did their part taking immediate control of the game which forced the Armos to wake up and do something about it. Finally, they finished the first period strong, and all of a sudden there was a hockey game. At one point they pulled themselves within one when O.Valiquette notched his second with half a frame remaining. After missing out on a pair of incredible scoring chances, the Armos ended up paying the price for it. M.Destounis regained a two goal margin late in the game while feeding a yawning cage to solidify a 7-4 win for the Fatal Demons. The second encounter seemed like a déjà vu with the Fatal Demons jump starting off to a 2-0 lead. It took up until the early stages of the final frame for the Armos offense to get to work. They managed to tie things up at two goals apiece but fell behind once more when S.Ruggiero regained the lead for the Fatal Demons. Still, the Armos weren’t done yet throwing the towel as they kept battling hard where they eventually got rewarded . D.Galloro evented the score on a beautiful wrist shot in close that beat S.Fraga short side. Then, with the game seemingly headed for a shootout, O.Valiquette had other plans bagging his second in the final minute of the game. Throughout four entire periods, the Armos never led once up until O.Valiquette decided matters late in the second game.
