(5)Capitals vs Royal Flush(1)
Make it two straight wins for the Capitals to start off their season as they rout the Royal Flush 5-1 on Wednesday night. The Capitals worked their special teams scoring once on the power play while adding a short handed marker. E.Vigneault and M.Champagne each had two assists and M.Carmelo got credited the winner after netting a late first period marker. The Royal Flush will need to find answers in the goal scoring department after a slow start posting only one tally in two games.
(6)Red Lite vs Hustlers(3)
The Hustlers fall twice so far by the same score, this time versus the recent Premier division champions. Red Lite won every single frame and were mostly productive by the third where the buried three tallies. Y.Labonte finished his night with a hat trick.
(4)Rated R vs All Blacks(3)
After pairing goals in both the first and second frames, Rated R grabbed a commanding 4-0 lead only to nearly blow it in the end. The All Blacks pushed hard and answered back posting three third period tallies before running out of race track. Rated R struck twice with their man advantage getting goals from J.Russo and D.Bertrand while E.Mavroudis was able to notch the winner late in the second period.

(7)Generals vs Royal Flush(0)
The Generals were able to put last weeks outcome behind them quickly as they handed the Royal Flush a 7-0 crushing to open their season. J.Bradley had goals in every frame for a hat trick and K.Kuczmarski also notched three tallies while S.Comptant got the other marker. The Royal Flush didn’t have the roster they hoped for and barely got any scoring attempts on M.Gallant who easily earned a shutout.
(6)All Blacks vs Hustlers(3)
After a wild opening period, the All Blacks continued their progress and eventually doubled up the Hustlers. S.Ghilarducci opened and closed the scoring while adding a helper on the game winning tally. N.Tzaferis and his captain T.Bozinakis combined for four points in the loss.
(1)Capitals vs Rated R(0)
One tally, along with tight defence and solid goaltending was enough for a Capitals victory. C.Valois struck late in the first period and the Capitals never looked back as they protected the lead the rest of the way. Each goaltender lived up to their expectations that saw J-F Aumais collect the shutout while his counter part A.Caruso was a rock as well allowing only one goal.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to J-F Aumais. The veteran net minder stood strong between the pipes allowing the Capitals to grab a 1-0 win over Rated R.
