The two teams entered the third period tied at two, before the Armadillos offence was able to break out in the final frame. P.Koutsogiannopoulos scored the eventual game winner with his first of two on the night. The Armadillos then added one more tally in an empty cage thanks to D.Andrade, who also scored twice. The Armadillos will continue to roll along as they dropped only one contest in five games.
(4)Capitals vs Les Crooners(3)
It took only ten seconds as the Capitals struggled to get passed the Crooners. Despite being down by one late in the third period, the Capitals put together back to back tallies courtesy of M.Champagne and M.Cloutier stunning their opponents with just over five minutes remaining. The Crooners had their best moments in the second period where they won the frame 2-1.M.Corbeil scored on the power play which was later followed with a short handed marker from D.Martel.
(3)Raging Rhinos vs Left Wings(5) S.O
After an evenly matched game, a breakaway competition was left to decide a victor. Each side scored twice in the opening frame, traded second period tallies before going on a scoring drought the rest of the way. No one had more than one point but E.Brady did notch a big short handed tally late in the second period for the Raging Rhinos. With only the net minders left to shine, F.Vigliotti shut the door twice in the shootout while N.Mauro gave up two goals from T.Kyritsis and J.Tzanetakos.
(0)Bramabulls vs Ultimate Blast(0) S.O
Its not often teams play to a scoreless result, but tonight it was the case as this contest belonged to the net minders. J.Beaudry of the Bramabulls along with E.Gabriel of the Ultimate Blast were absolutely brilliant between the pipes, not only shutting the door for three plus periods but able to deny every breakaway challenge in the shootout. J.Beaudry was forced to make an extra save in the shootout due to the Ultimate Blasts minor penalty in overtime.
(2)X-Treme vs Venom(8)
Presently sitting in opposite directions of the standings, Venom went about their business ousting the struggling X-Treme. Apart from Y.Gazura’s two goals, nobody really stood out for Venom as many players chipped away for points. A.Jalilvand notched the winner early in the second period where Venom did most of their damage posting four unanswered goals.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Peter Koutsogiannopoulos. The right handed sniper came to the rescue bagging two important goals in a 7-4 Armadillos win over Steakfrites.
