While the Dragons didn’t have much to show for, Blades did what they do best. With ball possession for most of the night, the division leaders created plenty of scoring chances resulting in many of goals. E.Girouard led the way posting a hat trick, M.Lastoria riffled a pair and S.Robineault helped set up four different teammates.
(5)Golden Kids vs Brewers(2)
The Golden Kids knew the importance of a lead, and once they got it the Brewers weren’t able to even the score. The Golden Kids seized a pair of power play opportunities resulting in tallies from J-P Cyr and F.Bergeron. J.Bernier got credited the winner with the games lone second period goal, and D.Laurie allowed only one marker for most of the night until C.Charles struck late in the game.
(1)Hellas vs United Arms(4)
After a slow start to the season, the United Arms are slowly starting to find their groove. This result now makes it two in a row for the Arms who controlled most of the night pairing goals in both the second and third frames. N.Macrozonaris’s late second period goal held for the winner and J-F Aumais stood tall in nets allowing only one marker.
(1)Vintage Ottarks vs Mighty Drunks(4)
Still in search for that first win of the season, the Vintage Ottarks had the difficult challenge to face up versus a faster hockey club. The Mighty Drunks opened the scoring late in the first period on a goal from J.Argyropoulos and were able to net two second period tallies leaving almost no hope for their opponents. J.Mandracchia did eventually get the veteran squad on the board but that was the only goal they managed passed A.Mancini.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Olivier Greco of the Might Drunks. His go ahead marker along with an assist was vital for his team in a 4-1 win over the Vintage Ottarks.
