As the struggles continue, the Scorpions faced another difficult challenge on Thursday night. They managed to stay within a one goal margin for two periods up until Renceur stormed with three third period tallies. N.Gilbert and J.Quesnel-Vinet each cashed in with a pair and B.Deslauries decided to pass the ball resulting in three assists.
(6)Seals vs Street Ballers(2)
Make it two in a row as the Seals put together back to back victories. Whatever was said after the first period definitely worked for the Seals as they powered five second period tallies to stun their opponents. A.Daher opened the scoring and was able to notch the winner as the only multi goal scorer for his club. S.Barbe had the most points scoring once and adding three helpers while his captain and net minder S.Gagnon denied every Street Baller except for Y.Dube who beat him twice.
(12)French Connection vs Les Raymonds(2)
O.Valiquette converted on five occasions, captain C.Corneau struck twice, J.Levesque set up five tallies and the French Connection had no problems defeating Les Raymonds. The French Connection discouraged their opponents towards the second phase of the match where everything seemed to be going in. Les Raymonds did have something to cheer about when A.Lemieux and S.Hamel scored to beat S.Gagnon.
(5)Brambulls vs Sttealth Assassins (4)
After playing fairly cautious for two periods, each side decided to open it up by the third. The Bramabulls entered the final frame up 2-1 before trading three third period tallies with their opponents. Newly added Marco Diaco made an immediate impact as the power forward participated in all five goals for the Bramabulls that included a pair by the third. The Stealth Assassins chased all game long to even the score, and once they did, they weren’t able to get that much needed tally. L.Mancini and L.Dulcetta shared three points each for the win while N.DeGregorio and J.Rodriguez did the same for the Stealth Assassins.
(5)Chiefs vs Fat Roy(6)
If there’s such a thing as a feel good loss, the Chiefs are glad to capture a point after a tough battle with Fat Roy. Down by three, the Chiefs decided it was time to elevate their game and it showed by storming right back into the match to force extra time. M.DelGaudio hurt the Chiefs early on netting the games first two goals but it was J.Pantelis’s and P.Elizardo’s shootout markers giving the edge to Fat Roy. G.Lallis, J.Levesque and L.Frino each had two points for the win while the Chiefs depended on four different goal scorers.
(6)Snookers vs Stones(2)
They started the season on a high note but its now two games in a row that the Stones struggle. They did however drop the game versus a club that remains undefeated after seven games. The Snookers have shown consistency all season long and tonight was just another example of how things are going well so far. M.Gagnon chipped in with a pair and the Snookers got offence from most of their roster with balance scoring.

(9)Dirty Boys vs Les Raymonds(0)
A.Romano, M.Chenier, A.Jalilvand along with Y.Gazura each scored twice, and M.Melo was perfect in nets earning a 9-0 shutout win over Les Raymonds. Slowly but surely, the Dirty Boys paced their way to an easy win posting three goals in every frame. He didn’t score but M.Destounis was involved in many smart plays and benefited by accumulating four assists. As frustrating as this may be for Les Raymonds, with time comes good chemistry which can only suggest a better fate in the near future.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marco Diaco of the Bramabulls. The power forward scored a pair of key third period goals in a five point performance to help defeat the Stealth Assassins by a close margin.
