(4)Spartans vs Sons of Terrebonne(3) Game 1
Spartans forward P.Arkalis struck twice including the game winner to put his club up 1-0 in the series. The Spartans never once trailed and led 3-1 at one point before J.Tanguy netted his second to even the score at three goals a piece. It was at that point on where Arkalis came through posting the most important tally by the nine minute mark of the final frame securing a well fought opening game.
(4)Sons of Terrebonne vs Spartans(3) Game 2
Three third period power play goals helped the Sons of Terrebonne even the series at one game a piece. J.Tanguy knew the turning point had arrived when he struck for a second time tying the game 2-2 by the six minute mark of the third period. M.Arkalis looked like he came to the rescue for the Spartans after posting his second of the contest for a 3-2 lead but that was immediately challenged as two late power play markers made the difference. M.Laverdiere evened the score at three goals a piece and A.Paquet won if for his club with only 25 seconds remaining on the clock.
(1)Spartans vs Sons of Terrebonne(4) Game 3
Momentum plays a factor as the Sons of Terrbonne carried it right away in the mini game. In 15 minutes alone, the Sons of Terrebonne got to C.Stavriadis on four occasions winning a crucial game to earn a spot in the finals. M.Laverdiere collected his clubs first two goals and J.Tanguy continued his dominance adding two more points as a significant piece to the puzzle.
(1)Slayers vs Smooth Sailors(5) Game 1
First place or not, the Smooth Sailors weren’t intimidated in their opening game versus the league leading Slayers. J.Palmitano knows how to get it done by notching a pair of back to back tallies before M.Testolina did the same late in the third period. The Slayers are known for scoring but were limited to only one goal from P.Musto. After facing over 30 shots, J-M Lacombe stood tall between the pipes giving his club a 1-0 series lead.
(3)Smooth Sailors vs Slayers(5) Game 2
The Slayers didn’t come this far to let it all slip away. Limited to only one goal in their previous game, the first place seed showed why they dominated the league by bouncing back with five important tallies to even the series at one goal a piece. J.Desmarais and C.Chirola found their game posting two goals each and N.Beaudet needed to be solid pushing away nearly 30 shots.
(1)Slayers vs Smooth Sailors(0) Game 3
With only 15 minutes to decide who moves on, the Slayers prevail with a close 1-0 win. For a second straight game, J.Desmarais comes through notching the games lone tally and a spot to the finals where they’ll take on the Sons of Terrebonne. The Smooth Sailors managed 12 shot attempts but ran into a wall as N.Beaudet shines once more to preserve the victory.

Two teams now remain in what will be the biggest battle of the season. The Slayers may enter as favourites but that won’t affect the Sons of Terrebonne as they’ll carry plenty of confidence after winning their semi finals.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jess Tanguy of the Sons of Terrebonne. Tanguy was a factor in all three games accumulating at least two points in each of those matches that included five goals.
