Defense exposed, Fat Cats score in bunches

The Fat Cats scored plenty utilizing the skill of G.DeMarinis, who had a lights out four goal performance. In a stretch of only four minutes, the dominant side bagged three straight markers to put the game out of reach. P.Nadeau scored once and collected four assists .The Expos struggled to contain their opponents, and celebrated goals only twice courtesy of G.Champagne and J-P Meunier. After receiving 23 shots, G-C Sangiovanni captured an easy win between the pipes.

Scorpions down Horsemen 4-1, improve to 2-1

The Scorpions got efforts from four different players, and solid goaltending by P.Patel who stole the show with 29 saves. B.Douek, captain of the Scorpions had a big night bagging the winner while setting up two teammates. A.Clark benefited from one of his captains feeds while also finishing his night with three points. The Horsemen notched their lone tally early in the second period when M.Kardum solved P.Patel for a rare time.

(4)Money Shot vs Les Coqs(8)

Double the glory, M.Goudreau & M.Turgeon each riffle hat tricks

Les Coqs combined for plenty of goals in an 8-4 rout of the Money Shot. Having the resources available to them, Les Coqs have many skilled forwards that can produce, and tonight was just an example of how M.Goudreau and M.Turgeon are dangerous around the net. Each player struck on three occasions. Les Coqs, after owning the first period 4-2 used their special teams late in the second period to carry a 6-3 third period lead. Turgeon scored once on the power play before netting a shorthanded marker only 30 seconds later. T.Provost-Blais scored once while assisting four times. The Money Shot fell behind early and trailed all game long never able to recover. T.Oliveira scored twice in a three point night for the Money Shot.

(5)District 5 Ducks vs Les Raymonds(3)

E.Teoli & M.Galambos each score twice, District 5 Ducks defeat Les Raymonds

With momentum swinging back and forth, the District 5 had the last word with a big third period. The winning side started strong posting a 2-0 lead before dropping a pair of second period tallies. The game changer occurred early in the third period when E.Teoli scored his second to break a 2-2 tie. Already with three points, M.Galambos also scored his second fairly late in the game. Les Raymonds put up a good fight for the entire match and benefited twice with their man advantage with goals by T.Spano and M.Denino.

M.Gibeault scores two goals in 45 seconds, RBK Knights string back to back victories

The RBK Knights forward scored two goals at the right time to help his club double up the Steelers on Wednesday night .Gibeault scored by the five minute mark of the third period posting back to back markers for a comfortable 4-1 lead. The Steelers had the better start when their captain B.Agridiotis scored the game’s first goal, and the better finish thanks to late marker from S.Karagioules, but substance was missing as the RBK Knights did more to earn the win. S.Sauk made the necessary saves stopping 24 of 26 shots.

(6)Deadlast vs H1G Boys(2)

H1G Boys struggles continue, remain winless in four games

Its four games into the regular season, and the H1G Boys have yet to collect any points to the standings. The good news is that there’s still plenty of time for that final spot, but points will be required. Tonight, they squared off versus a solid Deadlast team who wasted no time getting to work. K.Kakivelis dominated the first period with two goals, and Deadlast carried a two goal cushion heading into the second period. Hoping for a change of momentum, the H1G Boys couldn’t get anything going dropping another frame by the same score. The only thing left at that point was for J.Sanoudakis to continue his work as the solid net minder was brilliant once more to shut the door the rest of the way.

Buckshots reach perfect 3-0 record as only undefeated team in F2

The Buckshots soundly defeated the Bolts 6-3 to complete another positive night. With the help of M.Mavroudis’s hat trick, the first place seed forced the game upon their opponents to open things up. The Bolts tried to climb back into the game, and despite notching a third period shorthanded goal, the struggling side just couldn’t get there. The back breaker may have occurred when A.Angelis scored very late in the second period for a 5-2 lead.

(6)Primetime vs Hellfish(4)

Primetime power play scores three goals to down the Hellfish

On only three occasions, Primetime took advantage of the opportunity with power play goals in every period. A.Serhan had a big night collecting four points that included two goals. Primetime shifted the game there way by the eleven minute mark of the opening frame where they began their onslaught posting three straight markers. The Hellfish also saw their power play work striking twice with the man advantage. D.Ugaldez geared up for the first time this season and made an immediate impact riffling three goals for the Hellfish. With a 3-1 record, Primetime sit on top of the mountain of the F3 division.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Barry Douek of the Scorpions. The Scorpions captain notched the winner, and added two insurance points to help his club get by the Horsemen.
