Newly added P.Dube makes immediate impact for Sons of Anaheim

In his season debut with the Sons of Anaheim, P.Dube looks to fit right in. His three goals and three assists proved to be too much to handle for the Spartans. The Sons of Anaheim gave up there first goal late in the second period, but were still up 3-1 at that point. The Spartans did fight back to reduce the margin within one on a shorthanded effort by M.Arkalis but that was as close as it got. The Sons of Anaheim went on to spark four straight goals that saw Dube post back to back tallies while adding an assist. M.Cote was solid in net giving up both goals on the Spartans special teams.

Smackdaddys rally in third for come from behind victory

The Smackdaddys spotted the Communists a 3-1 lead and then roared back to secure a big come from behind victory. E.Mavroudis was part of the formula notching a late second period goal to put his club within one. The Smackdaddys didn’t stop there and evened the score when S.Euchi struck barely two minutes into the final frame. With the game deadlocked at three goals a piece, the comeback was complete when A.Romano bagged a late tally. The Smackdaddys, although won the match let it slip away at one point by giving up two straight shorthanded goals. J-P McCann and J.Provost-Blais each scored in the disadvantage to put the Communists up 3-1.

G.Follano back stops Sailors to 3-0 win over Les Aces

G.Follano stopped barely seven shots leading the Smooth Sailors to a fourth win in as many games. But the real story was the clicking duo between M.Testolina and J.Mandracchia. Both players collected points on every goal. M.Testolina got on the board first in the opening frame before setting up J.Mandracchia twice by the second. Each of those tallies came just over a minute apart. The Smooth Sailors found themselves often in the penalty box by the third period and still managed to escape with a shutout victory.

E.Girouard scores two, Dark Warriors win 5-2 over Smackdaddys

E.Girouard notched two first period goals as the Dark Warriors took advantage of a tired Smackaddys team. The game slowly favored the Warriors as two second period tallies put them in the driver’s seat .In hopes of getting back into the match, the Smackdaddys couldn’t generate the offence required due to P.Turturici solid play between the pipes. E.Mavroudis netted both goals in the loss. P.Elizardo bagged the winner with the help of J.Rochon, who had three assists.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Philippe Dube of the Sons of Anaheim. The talented forward sparked three goals and three helpers in a 7-2 rout of the Spartans.
