(2)Fatal Demons vs Hulkamania(4) Game 2
Hulkamania silence Demons and even series
Buoyed by a strong attack, Hulkamania responded to force a third and deciding game. A.Dayan led Hulkamania with two goals and an assist and B.Deslauriers offered two points of his own. H.Trahan rebounded after a shaky game one to win with 28 saves. The Fatal Demons rode a hot sequence winning three straight games up until the men in yellow flipped the script. Each side played it cautious with only one penalty throughout the entire contest. As much as this was a must win result for Hulkamania, a fifteen minute mini game came to be a determining factor to see who would take it all.
(2)Hulkamania vs Fatal Demons(3)O.T Game 3
Ex hulkster K.Araujo comes back to haunt old team
It wasn’t too long ago that Hulkamania celebrated a game three overtime championship. During that time, K.Araujo riffled a deceiving rocket in a game three do or die match up that gave Hulkamania there second title in their last year. Tonight, the ex teammate came to haunt his opponents. It took all but 35 seconds for the silent leader to get the job done. K.Araujo fooled H.Trahan with a low hard wrist shot to end the night and give the Fatal Demons another one of many championships. Hulkamania opened and closed the scoring with goals from B.Deslauriers and J.Courteau. The veteran side scored in between only one minute apart courtesy of D.Ugaldez and G.Lallis. For a team who had no expectations for going anywhere, the Fatal Demons proved everyone wrong in their playoff run. The 4-6 regular season record appeared to be just an illusion. After crawling back into the series against the heavy favorite Romans, the Fatal Demons did something remarkable by knocking out the three time champs. Pat Santullo along with his teammates may have been the only ones confident for what they achieved. On behalf of Hockryballe.com, congratulations go out to the leader and the rest of his troops for capturing the E1 Sunday night division.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Kevin Araujo of the Fatal Demons. As solid as they come, Kevin Araujo scored the biggest goal of the season to help his club celebrate a well earned championship.
