Red Rose rides momentum to capture opener

D.Palanisamy scored the first of four second period goals to give Red Nose a commanding third period lead. M.Latreille and N.Delia rounded off the offence posting two markers each. With Red Nose taking a pair of second period penalties, the Hit List weren’t able to do much on their power play. S.Morante kept the gap wide for most of the contest. The net minder did allow two quick third period goals which had no serious impact on the game. From the way things have been going for a while, the Red Nose can’t seem to lose anymore. The red machine just captured their seventh straight win after a shaky start to the regular season.

Red Nose surge offence in game two, take E2 division title

When defense deserted the Hit List, the goals kept coming in bunches. The snow ball effect just kept getting bigger for Red Nose, who exploded early on to put the Hit List on their heels. As expected, it was the usual suspects getting it done. M.Latreille and N.Delia continued from where they left off creating most of the offence. Both players have the ability to make things very difficult for most defensemen and especially the goaltenders. Their hat tricks proved to be too much in what was one of the biggest games of the season. In addition, M.Bourassa put himself in the same pack by posting two goals and three helpers. The Red Nose maximized all their assets to get to this point. Surrounded by a stable supporting cast, great goaltending, experience and the luxury of having natural snipers, it made only sense that the three time champions would add another mark to their success.
