(6)Smooth Sailors vs Bramabulls(3)
J.Palmitano tallies twice as Sailors top Bulls
J.Palmitano’s two goals led a balanced attack, as the Smooth Sailors defeated a rival Bramabulls team on Tuesday night. On the most part, the Smoot Sailors were in full control making the score 4-1.The only time that there was cause for concern was when S.Sacco narrowed to gap to pull within one. That tally came late in the second period where the Bramabulls notched their last goal of the game. J.Palmitano eventually struck for a second time and the Smooth Sailors capped off the night with an empty net marker by J.Morina. M.Richard set up three different teammates and A.Mancini collected the win after facing 24 shots.
(3)Legacy vs Communists (1)
Bertrand, Rochon and Assadi dazzle their way to a 3-1 win
Much of the team’s success in this particular game was attributed to the top line between D.Bertrand, J.Rochon and P.Assadi. That trio participated in all three goals combining for eight points. It’s a combination that will become an absolute juggernaut for most teams. With the game deadlocked 1-1 after two periods, the dynamic trio decided to turn it up. It took only one minute for J.Rochon and D.Bertrand to get on board. That lead may have felt secure enough but two quick penalties didn’t put Legacy out of the woods just yet. The Communists attempted to bounce back with the man advantage but kept hitting a wall in P.Turturici, who was just as brilliant as his number one line.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Pietro Turturici of Legacy. The solid net minder limited a destructive offence to only one goal on 29 shots.
