RBK Knights comeback with A.Papazian two third period goals

In the span of only a minute and a half, A.Papazian scored two third period goals to transform what was a deficit into a lead for the RBK Knights. Both his tallies came with the help of A.Jalilvand. For nearly two full periods, A.Mancini and Les Raymonds kept a clean score sheet up until J.Magri struck late in the second period. Papazian notched his second with the man advantage on the RBK Knights second attempt. J.Flynn and J.Lafortune got Les Raymonds only goals on S.Sauk, who earned the win after facing 29 shots.

K.Simom,J.Arsenault score two goals each to lead Reapers past Gladiateurs

Keith Simon and J.Arsenault had plenty to do with the Reapers win on Wednesday night as both players tallied twice to double up Les Gladiateurs. The turning point occurred past the mid way mark of the game when J.Arsenualt seized the moment with the man advantage. That tally snapped a 2-2 tie which turned into a 4-2 lead before the end of the period. After a promising start with two early goals by M.Gelinas, Les Gladiateurs offense ran dry the rest of the way.C.Tremblay shock off the bad start denying every ball his direction to collect an early season win for the Reapers.

E.Panzera dishes out 5 assists in tight match vs Bolts

Give him the ball and he will find you. E.Panzera ran rampant over the Bolts, setting up all five goals for a stellar offensive night. J.Guerriero and J.Scalia benefited twice while K.Hrivnack may have notched the biggest goal of the contest. The Fat Cats made the score 5-3 when Hrivnack used a third period power play marker for a 5-3 lead. The Bolts, like they have done all game long showed no quit and pulled within one thanks to a late tally by J.Michaud. The game kept going back and forth with plenty of chances on each side in what was an exciting offensive display. At times it didn’t look like it would let up.

Spartans top HC Inter in high scoring affair

After a game to forget only a week ago, the Spartans may have regained their confidence. Scoring eight times in a game can only help bury the sorrows of an ugly defeat. Most of the goals came by the second portion of the match for both sides. The Spartans struck twice on the power play and got multi goal games by T.Oliveira and G.DeLuca. The HC Inter led twice during the game but were never able to build on it. D.Crivello, as expected would notch two goals in the loss in what is so far a slow start to the HC Inter’s season.

Latin Blue tries to shake off rust after long absence

Despite being out of action for a while, the Latin Blue did pretty well in their season debut versus a solid Hellfish team. The match was only decided by the third period when the Hellfish struck early with two goals. B.Rubino snapped a 3-3 tie for his second and N.Bourgeois widened the margin after receiving a pass by D.Laurin, who collected his third point of the night. Latin Blue balanced their scoring with four different players but did have G.Cerroni participated in all four goals. Its only two games in and the Hellfish are looking good with a 2-0 record.

Rhinos surrender six second-period goals in 7-3 loss to Horsemen

The Horsemen swamped the Raging Rhinos in the second period by scoring six unanswered goals, amazingly enough by six different players. The offense was very well spread out but did have T.Mader set up four teammates. Despite the blow out, the Raging Rhinos did win the first and third periods but were completely out match by the second. M.Vinciguerra had his hands full limiting a good squad to only three goals on 31 shots. It’s only two games in and the Horsemen look to be very convincing with their deep and complete line-up.

(5)United Arms vs Primetime(4)

United Arms rally for stunning victory with two late goals

It’s never over till it’s over. After battling all night to get in front, Primetime finally got there but weren’t able to hold on long enough. With the help of G.Jerjian’s persistent play, the United Arms can thank their forward for capturing the win. Jerjian used his speed and quick hands to collect four points that included a goal and an assist late in the game. The United Arms also got there with the help of A.Melkonian’s two power play goals and the help of C.Stavriadis goaltending, who just finished playing earlier in the D division. As for Primetime, C.Flikas led the way posting two out of the four goals.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Garo Jerjian of the United Arms. The talented forward thrived and never let up posting four crucial points to help his club edge out Primetime 5-4.
