(5) Communists vs Bramabulls(4) S.O
Communists rally to take away crucial points of Bramabulls
The Bramabulls showed their desperation for putting together their best performance of the season so far, but that only lasted for half the game. Up 3-0, A.DiPerna saw some light at the end of the tunnel with his club posting three straight markers while getting exceptional goaltending by G.Follano. But in the flash of only 17 seconds, the Communists came knocking with two very quick goals. The third period wasn’t any better as J.Provost-Blais scored twice that included the equalizer on the power play. With overtime settling nothing, each side tried to get it done in the shootout. Unfortunately for the Bramabulls, J.Vrettis denied both players his way. The Communists won it courtesy of J.Provost-Blais, who once again came to hurt his opponent. The Bramabulls aren’t too pleased with where they sit in the standings. That being said, they did nearly defeat the first place team that has only one loss in six games.
(4)Capitals vs Legacy(2)
Capitals build 4-0 lead, hang on for 4-2 win
Spearheaded by a 4-0 third period lead, the Capitals kept Legacy in check for most of the night. The only time they got on board was as of the ten minute mark of the third period. P.Assadi grinned knowing that he took away J.Beaudry’s potential shutout. The Capitals balanced their scoring getting a power play goal courtesy of P.Gendron and the game winner by M.Tremblay. The win places them in second place with a 3-1 record with their only loss coming to the Bramabulls.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jonathan Beaudry of the Capitals. The net minder played a near perfect game allowing only two late goals.
