(3)Les Raymonds vs United Arms (5)
United Arms continue to roll as season end approaches
The United Arms keep on surging maintaining top spot of the division after defeating Les Raymonds 5-3 on Wednesday night. It always helps when you can strike first and get that early lead. H.Genc and A.Belcher each tallied only 90 seconds apart to give their club a two goal cushion after only four and a half minutes into the contest. Les Raymonds did respond right away on a goal by A.DeCarolis but fell behind by a pair once more when M.Boghossian scored his first of two in the game. Y.Derohannessian buried the back breaker late in the second period that held up as the winner. Les Raymonds scored once in every period that had A.DeCarolis, M.Palmieri and A.Hussain collect two points each.
(6)Hellfish vs RBK Knights(2)
RBK Knights playoff hopes looking bleak
The RBK Knights could ill-afford to lose a game as they’ll have to make one more final push to try and get in the playoffs. The desperate side ran into a chaotic second period where only one player hurt them. M.Chartrand owned the frame posting three unanswered goals for a natural hat trick. The Hellfish were never in any danger by simply playing their game. In addition to Chartrand’s remarkable performance, N.Bourgeois chipped in with a pair while F.Benhamadi was able to set up three markers. The loss cripples the RBK Knights chances at making the playoffs. The Knights, sitting four points behind Les Raymonds with only two games to go, need to collect points in both games and receive some major help.
(6)Primetime vs Reapers(3)
T.Shpindler’s hat trick leads Primetime to 6-3 win over slumping Reapers
While things seemed fine in the first period, the Reapers were in shambles by the second giving up four straight tallies. They did however finish the frame strong posting two late goals but that still forced them to battle back-from a two goal deficit. By then, the damage had already been done as Primetime tightened the knot allowing no goals on seven shots. T.Shpindler may have been the story of the match as the Primetime sniper went to work netting goals in every period. L.Haouzi and T.Flikas were heavy contributors as well accumulating three points each, and A.Qureshi was sharp in net keeping his club in it the whole time. This loss is now a third straight for a club that started with a 3-0 record.

D.Ugaldez overtime hero as Latin Blue rally past Gladiateurs
After spotting Les Gladiateurs with a 4-2 third period lead, Latin Blue rallied with three consecutive goals that included the winner by D.Ugaldez. That goal wasn’t the only bright thing that Ugaldez did. The Latin Blue forward was a thorn all night setting up two tallies while netting the equalizer and the game winner. Most of the damage occurred by the second with the Spartans striking four times. P.Lavoie and S.Lavoie put forth a strong performance bagging two goals each while combining for eight points. Tonight’s result was the Spartans third straight win of the season as they are starting to find their groove. As for the Fat Cats, short spurts just won’t cut it as they’ll need to find a way to remain consistent for 45 minutes.
(11)Bolts vs Raging Rhinos(8)
Bolts and Raging Rhinos trade chances in run and gun affair
If the first period was any indication of where this match was headed, then everyone got it wrong. After a low scoring 1-1 first period, the game plans changed with both sides deciding to open it up. It’s unfortunate for the net minders as they didn’t get much help-from anyone. The Bolts traded blows winning a wild second period 5-4 while doing the same by the third taking the frame 5-3.His goals may have come a little late but A.Kobayati did lead all Bolts players by collecting a hat trick. L.Beaulieu was second in line bagging a pair while six other players found the back of the net for the Bolts. The Raging Rhinos got their engine going by J.Zannis, who struck three times, and G.Vouloumanos along with S.Pilon as both players notched two goals each. The Bolts needed this win but still have work ahead of them with only three games remaining.

(8)Black Venom vs HC Inter(6)
HC Inter blow four goal lead, fall to Black Venom
Four goals in the first ten minutes should have been enough for the HC Inter. However, nothing is ever secure when you play a team like the Black Venom. Despite missing a few key elements, the Black Venom still had players that can hurt you on any given day. In today’s case, only three players scored out of the eight that went in. T.Lord led all players with an impressive four goal performance while B.Deslauriers and J.Quesnel-Vinet each scored twice. Deslauriers did more than just pop in a pair as the power forward was part of setting up four tallies. The HC Inter got their scoring done by D.Crivello, who buried a hat trick, and P-L Poirier that finished two goals.
(8)Raging Rhinos vs Horsemen(2)
Slow start ends in expected result
The Horsemen scrambled to get going with barely enough players to start the game. Once they did, it didn’t really matter much as they struggled with no substitutions. The Raging Rhinos went about their business, especially by the third period where the Horsemen couldn’t keep up. E.Valiquette helped set up G.Vouloumanso and J.Viveiros to put the game away. N.Mauro may have only played two periods but was effective nevertheless to earn the win in net.
(3)Primetime vs Latin Blue(6)
S.Monnet shines in 6-3 win for Latin Blue
In Latin Blue’s 6-3 victory over Primetime, S.Monnet scored twice and picked up an assist to help improve his club to their fifth straight win. Latin Blue balanced their scoring netting two goals in every period. M.Juarez didn’t score but helped set up three markers. For nearly two full periods, Primetime couldn’t get to R.Ranieri but that spell ended when T.Flikas took advantage of a power play opportunity. That goal did spark what looked like a third period comeback .C.Flikas and T.Shpindler each tallied to pull within one and all of a sudden there was a game. However, that all changed when A.Arcoraci and D.Ugaldez scored moments later to seal the win for Latin Blue.
(5)Spartans vs Bolts(9)
Bolts third period surge propels them past Spartans
A five goal third period surge ultimately decided the outcome of this contest. It all started with the help of some key players. First, J.Michaud snapped a 4-4 third period tie with his second of the game, and then E.Felesakis broke out after posting a second period goal by adding three more to his total. The Bolts forward went on a rampage showing no signs of fatigue despite playing with a very shorts bench. The Spartans weren’t stacked either and got a similar production by S.Lavoie, who collected a hat trick while setting up P.Lavoie.
(5)Hellfish vs Gladiateurs(2)
M.Chartrand, N.Bourgeois & J.Roblin click in Hellfish victory
Sometimes it takes just a little chemistry to make the whole difference. Unable to be contained, the trio between M.Chartrand, N.Bourgeois and J.Roblin proved to be too much of a handful for Les Gladiateurs. All three players combined for nine points that saw Roblin set up three goals while netting one himself. The Hellfish made the score 5-1 by the ten minute mark of the second period which enabled them not to force much the rest of the way. B.Verducci faced 25 shots only to have S.Lague and C.Boivin beat him. The win keeps the Hellfish in first place tied alongside the United Arms with only one game left to go.
