Two evenly matched teams face off against each other tonight.
Two evenly matched teams go up against each other tonight. From start to finish both teams went back and forth exchanging a multitude of chances. E. Paquin was a game changer in this game as he was the sole player on both clubs to solve the opposing goaltender notching two goals. P. Doulis cut the lead in half mid way through the third period, but that was all the scoring created by the Left Wings. D. Traversy notched a late goal to secure the win and help his club move up the standings.

Possibility of perfect season comes to an end for Icons.
The possibility of a perfect season comes to an end for the Icons tonight. From initial puck drop until the final buzzer, the River Rats proved they showed up to play tonight holding the opposition to only one goal by A. Kobayati late in the game. The River Rats got to witness the emergence of one of their young players by M. Dettorre who notched three goals in the first game tonight. The Icons will need to learn from their first loss of the season as both teams are favorites to make it far in the playoffs.

River Rats not bothered by double header.
It was all business as usual for the River Rats as they played their second game of the night. After showing in the first game that the team is flying in all cylinders with strong defensive play, a strong possession games as well as scoring without hesitation. M. Dettore continued with his hot hands in the second game proving he can once again score multiple goals in a game notching two in this one. M. Crialese also did his portion for his club scoring a hat trick. While F. Moshonas continued his strong play for a second straight game allowing only T. Bozinakis to get one passed him early in the first period.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Massimo Dettore of the River Rats. The young forward proved to be the difference maker in both games as he notched a total of five goals of his teams eight goals.
