T.J Ward natural hat trick sets tone early for Communists
The Communists broke out early for a huge first period against the Smooth Sailors. T.J Ward bagged three in a row just shy of the nine minute mark of the opening frame while J.Provost-Blais collected his third point to help provide a commanding 4-0 lead. That period alone pretty much summed it up for the rest of the match. The Smooth Sailors attempted an early third period comeback with two quick goals but fell back in a massive hole when the Communists replied with a pair of their own. J.Provost-Blais continued his onslaught by racking more points to finish with two goals and four assists. It came in losing cause but M.Testolina, J.Palmitano and J.Morina clicked like they usually do combining for nine points.

M-A Morin provides winner in dying seconds
It’s never a nice feeling to lose a game with 13 seconds remaining but this loss has more serious implications to the big picture for Legacy. The result may just have complicated the standings as they may be forced to capture two points in their final game of the regular season providing that the Bramabulls win both their games. However, they do hold the cards in their own hands if they can defeat the Smooth Sailors in regulation, overtime or a shootout because that would give them four wins over the Bramabulls three wins. For now, they had to witness a bad ending when M-A Morin won it in the dying moments of the hockey game. The Capitals woke up late notching three third period goals to pull the rug right under Legacy’s feet .Five different players scored in the victory while P.Assadi was the only multi goal scorer for Legacy.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to T.J Ward of the Communists. His three early goals helped set the tone that resulted in a double up win over the Smooth Sailors.
