Lynx give Fatal Demons rude awakening

The Fatal Demons felt like spectators rather than hockey players in their lopsided loss to the Lynx. Rather than competing and making things difficult on the new squad, they just couldn't keep up hard enough in the end. The Lynx demonstrated some good hockey by constantly moving around with a highly active defense. With that, the goals came as they struck twice in every frame. D.Zabitsky and J.Mason had multi goal performances as both players combined for seven points. After receiving 24 shots, S.Catalano denied all but one orange ball that came off the blade of S.Koulieris .It's not often that the Fatal Demons lose in this type of fashion which can only suggest that the Lynx are a real force to be reckoned with this season.

Shockers topple Les Immigrant in landslide

There wasn't much Les Immigrant could have done on this night. The Shockers were simply quicker and used their deep skill to outmatch their opponent. Surely enough, T.Salberg would get his name noticed on the score sheet. The natural sniper struck three times along with his teammate J.Blunt, who bagged his clubs last three goals of the game. Blunt scored once shorthanded before capping off the contest with a power play marker. Les Immigrant did attempt some shots on net but were unable to solve D.Bourque at any time.

Fatal Demons redeem themselves vs Wild Dogs

With a chance to bounce back and salvage their night, the Fatal Demons had a much better performance vs the Wild Dogs. This time, they made sure to put out a better effort despite going down very early in the game. That early deficit proved to be the only tally that M.Trivisonno would give up. The rest of the match belonged only to the Fatal Demons as they replied with massive force sparking eight straight markers. It was the captain that led the way. P.Santullo got the wheels rolling igniting two first period goals to grab the lead by the end of the frame. Then, the snow ball effect was in motion as the balls just kept going in. C.Fragkiudakis didn't score but helped set up five tallies that included a pair-from A.Jalilvand.

E.Girouard rips four in Team Cuba's season opener

E.Girouard continues to be a scoring machine after posting four goals to propel Team Cuba past Sportek on Sunday night. The veteran riffled three of his goals-from mid court that managed its way through M.Chamoun. This contest was very close for half the game until Team Cuba pulled away sparking three second period tallies in less than five minutes. In addition to Girouard's offensive output, K.Kersaint joined the club as well striking three times for his hat trick. Sportek entered the night without some key pieces which would have made for an overall better game. P.Delli Colli generated half of Sportek's offense with two perfect shots-from the point.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Eric Girouard of Team Cuba. His potent slap shots found its way four times as part of a six point performance.
