(2)RBK Knights vs Les Raymonds(4)
Les Raymonds score two third period goals to pull out victory
Twice they tied it, but the RBK Knights were unable to ever play with the lead in their 4-2 loss to Les Raymonds. Once A.De Carolis struck by the eight minute mark of the third period, Les Raymonds made sure to not repeat the same mistakes-from that point on. A.Mancini stopped everything his way and M.Deninno capped it off with a late insurance marker. Les Raymonds struggled to get into the win column after three consecutive losses but ended the curse on this night thanks to scoring efforts by four different players.
(6)Armadillos vs Venom(3)
Third period eruption leads Armadillos past Venom
Venom surrendered three third period goals on Wednesday night as the Armadillos broke out to collect their fourth straight win of the season. K.Koutsogiannopoulos came through notching a very late second period tally that levelled the game at three goals apiece. From-there, the Armadillos used that goal as motivation and benefited-from it when P.Scotti snapped the tie and grab the lead for good. P.Legatos then put things to rest sparking two markers in only three minutes. P.Lapointe helped set up three teammates for the win while A.Jalilvand did the same for Venom.
(3)Hellfish vs Fat Cats(5)
D.Brunetti strikes with late dagger, Fat Cats remain unbeaten
The Fat Cats remain on top of their division, continuing a spectacular run after four games into the season. In tonight's case, they got a timely goal by D.Brunetti with just over a minute remaining, who went on to add his second in an empty cage. The Hellfish battled back to tie the game three straight times thanks to a brilliant effort by N.Bourgeois, who notched all three tallies. Unfortunately, they weren't able to grab that lead which came to bite them in the end. S.Hrivnak was equally vital to the result as the sharp d-man struck once on the power play while setting up a pair of teammates.
(6)Les Agents Libre vs Horsemen (2)
T.Oliveira scores hat trick in Agents Libre's 6-2 rout of Horsemen
T.Oliveira grabbed a hat trick and R.Estrela scored two goals as Les Agents Libre were all over the Horsemen in this contest. It wasn't the kind of effort that the Horsemen were too pleased with. They did manage to pull within one when M.Kardum cut the lead in half but Les Agents Libre simply responded to grab a two goal cushion. T.Oliveira used three key consecutive tallies and was absolutely dynamite finishing his game with four points. P.DelliColli also contributed to the win limiting a good offense to only two goals on 25 shots.
(3)Lumberjacks vs Primetime(5)
Primetime take over by third period versus winless Lumberjacks
For two straight periods, the Lumberjacks were headed in the right direction. The winless club appeared to be in fine shape carrying a 2-1 lead heading into the third period until their wheels came off the track. Or maybe it was Primetime deciding to up their game when it mattered the most. Whatever the reason, Primetime came out relentless igniting four straight tallies to take the game away-from a side in search of a victory. The effort was led by T.Shpindler, who sparked two goals along with D.Zabitsky and L.Haouzi as both players combined for five points. Despite the loss, M-A Haber made his presence felt bagging both markers while adding some extracurricular activity towards the end of the match.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Dominic Brunetti of the Fat Cats. By avoiding overtime, D.Brunetti buried two late goals to help keep his club perfect with a 4-0 record.
