Breeze Panareeze answer the bell with 1 Timer
The Breeze Panareeze shook off a pair of disappointing losses only a week ago with two decent performances on Monday night. Every single player connected making crisp passes and smart plays resulting in thirteen goals in two games. While the first encounter took off in one direction for the Breeze Panareeze, the second wasn't so much the same. Instead, the 1 Timer came out flying with the games first two goals by their captain S.Koch and T.Daigneault before finding themselves trailing 3-2 by the end of the opening frame. That sequence took the wind out of the 1 Timer and the Breeze Panareeze went about their business adding four unanswered goals by the end of the game. S.Govas, despite playing as a defenseman was the most productive accumulating five goals and three assists.

Punishers and Nightmares take aim in shootouts
It was that close between the Nightmares and the Punishers. In both games, neither side got it done in regulation time. However, the Punishers did let the first encounter slip away by giving up two very late markers that evened the score. D.Bertrand set up both his captain S.Sicuso and J.Rochon to force the shootout where both net minders excelled denying every single breakaway. A.Bergomi played the role of trooper. The veteran normally plays as a forward but took it for the team by dressing up as a goaltender. Considering the move, perhaps he may have to consider a different role as he did not disappoint in an unfamiliar position. The Nightmares did eventually get L.Dias to take over in net. With his club up 1-0 after a power play goal by J.Rochon, the Punishers returned the favor by netting a late tally by T.Karvouriaris forcing a second straight shootout. But the outcome didn't turn out to be the same in this case. Out of their three attempts, the Punishers saw their captain J.Fidrilis and K.Tsoukalas end the spell netting a shootout marker a piece. Unfortunately the Nightmares were snake bitten once more unable to crack F.Russo, who was brilliant throughout both games.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Steve Govas of the Breeze Panareeze. The cerebral d-man was on top of his game racking up an impressive eight points that included five goals.
