Red Lite romp to 10-1 win over Team Haiti

So Red Lite made Team Haiti pay-from start to finish on this night. They scored often by keeping the ball away-from their opponent. Five goals went end in prior to the first period and five more went in by the second ending the contest earlier than usual. P.DiGiacomo scored the most for his hat trick while J.Daoust and K.Kuczmarski each struck twice getting the better of a defenceless M.Dorismond. Team Haiti's lone highlight came in the opening frame where P-A Plaisir beat C.Lantin for a rare time. Despite their short roster of barely two lines, Red Lite still overwhelmed Team Haiti.

Black Knights rally but lose in shootout

After being plagued with a slow start, the Black Knights overcame a 2-0 deficit only to lose in a shootout. Rather than tying the game late in the first period with a power play opportunity, the Black Knights gave up a goal instead finding themselves in a deeper hole .However, that didn't discourage them-from battling back in which they did striking once late in the second period and late in the final frame. With both sides testing their luck in a shootout, the Black Knights failed on all three attempts to put the ball home. P-O Girouard stood tall winning the battle over his counterpart G.Vermette, who couldn't stop B.Jutras. The P-Ball got goals-from G.Saulnier and B.Jutras while B.Daniele and C.Chirola each tallied for the Black Knights.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Benoit Jutras of P-Ball. The P-Ball forward scored twice in rare circumstances. His first tally came with a man less while his other goal was the lone shootout marker that ultimately decided the outcome.
