(6)Mighty Drunks vs Buckshots(4)

Mighty Drunks score 5 third period goals, comeback to beat Buckshots

Exploding for five third period goals has fuelled confidence for the Mighty Drunks that's it's never over till it's over. What made the onslaught particularly special was that it came as part of a come-from behind victory. Throughout most of the match, the Buckshots had control being up 3-1 after two periods. Then, and for whatever reason, things went-from good to sour. The Mighty Drunks relied on nobody but themselves as five different players took turns finding the back of the net. Y.Dube did however get his club on board early in the game and perhaps was their most offensive player scoring twice while setting up M-A Desrosiers and M.Beaudry.  The Buckshots did have one thing working all night and that was M.Thakaa, who was stellar posting three out of his clubs four goals.

(7)Fat Cats vs UD Redz(8) O.T

A.Sayed ends wild game between UD Redz and Fat Cats

The goals kept coming as the net minders were stuck fishing balls out of their net wondering how things got out of hand. Sometimes they have no choice but to condition themselves that the outcome will end in a barn burner. As long as neither team builds enough of a cushion, than its fine knowing that they can at least earn a victory. Even with both sides scoring seven goals, it still wasn't enough to declare a winner. F.Gentile hoped that his late third period goal to tie the game would spark some momentum into overtime. Unfortunately for the Fat Cats, it was A.Sayed getting the last word. The sniper opened and closed the scoring for his club sharing a two goal performance with J.Hassan. The Fat Cats saw their scoring concentrated on two particular players only. S.Hrivnak led the way collecting five points while F.Gentile followed up with one goal and three assists.

(5)Left Wings vs Bramabulls(6)

Left Wings come back falls short in loss to Bramabulls

The Left Wings didn't come out on top Wednesday, but it certainly wasn't due to a lack of guts. After facing a 4-1 deficit, the Left Wings fought back to even the score. Still, the Bramabulls found a way to regain the lead figuring it may have been good enough. Clearly it wasn't the case as D.Provost used his third point of the frame to tie the game once more. Unfortunately for the Left Wings, the Bramabulls didn't succumb to their rally thanks to A.Moffa's immediate response. That goal left just under two minutes of playing time which felt like an eternity for the Bramabulls considering how the game trended in the third period. They did manage to hold up in the end, and were glad to earn the win after dictating much of the pace. M.Maggiore and A.Moffa helped secure the victory bagging two goals each. As for the Left Wings, D.Provost was an absolute force accumulating two goals and a pair of assists.

(4)Horsemen vs Scorpions (5) O.T

Scorpions give up 2 late goals but salvage win in overtime

The Horsemen showed their will to force overtime against the Scorpions but were upended in the sudden death frame. This contest had two sides to the story. In the first half of the contest, it looked like neither team was able to get on board. It took up until the 8:34 minute mark of the second period for K.Rose of the Scorpions to finally break the ice. That goal was the first of nine that went in including a frantic finish where both teams traded two each in the final five minutes. Even though the Scorpions pulled it off in the end, the win will leave a small bitter taste after giving up two goals in the last 90 seconds. The win came courtesy of A.Clark, who despite being quiet on the score sheet, notched his clubs biggest marker of the night. M.Gil did have more of an overall impact participating in all five goals. The Horsemen got two goals each-from their captain V.Pandza and T.Zermalias.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Michael Gil of the Scorpions. Out of his clubs five goals, M.Gil had his hand in all of them finishing with an impressive two goals and three assists.

(2)Fat Roy vs Knights(9)

Knights run up the score in rout of Fat Roy

The Knights superiority was so complete that a third period wasn't even necessary. Fat Roy didn't help their cause either without key components missing-from their line up. By rolling the bench the way they did, the Knights simply out worked and outplayed their opponent. J.DeSua notched the winner while closing out the game with the last goal. S.Ruggiero scored back to back tallies with the help of Y.St-Georges, who finished his night with four points. The only two players to solve S.Sauk came-from the blades of A.Kefalinos and by the captain C.Zafiropoulos.
