(4)GK vs Black Knights (5) O.T
J.Gagne leads the charge again, buries hat trick and helper on Ozair's winner
J.Gagne's fourth point of the game, only a minute into overtime, helped set up W.Ozair's winner capping off a nice comeback win for the Black Knights on Monday night. For the way the game began, it looked like the GK were on their way to a victory after jumping to a 3-1 first period lead .M.David provided the early showcase participating in all three tallies before finishing his night with two goals and two assists. But perhaps the biggest story was the play of J.Gagne. The crafty forward was so effective that the Black Knights benefited three times with goals-from their top gun. While some of the Black Knights top forwards have been producing decently, the depth trio between A.Desrosiers, Z.Lasania and J.Uppal have really stepped up their game when called upon on. The three were constantly putting pressure pinning the GK defence while forcing them to circle back and try to start another rush taking precious time away-from the clock. The Black Knights know in order to defeat the GK that all their elements need to be in full force. Y.Benmegdoul faced some waves of chances, and despite allowing four tallies was still a vital reason why the Black Knights prevailed in the end. With this result, the Black Knights grabbed sole position of the A bracket of the Premier division.
(8)GK vs Band Aids(3)
GK rock the Band Aids with 8-3 victory
Coming off a heartbreaking defeat, the GK made a statement in their ensuing match versus the Band Aids. There was almost no way that D.Nguyen and all his troops would concede a second straight loss. Once again, the GK started with a bang building a 3-1 lead after only one period. The second period was not taken for granted this time as they kept putting pressure that resulted into two more goals. M.David, A.Mirolla and K.Kuczmarski struck often as all three players shared two markers each. The Band Aids did get some satisfaction by the third period when A.Palucci and M.Boriero each scored to solve L.Augustin. Clearly, fatigue played no role in this contest for the GK, who salvaged the night with a victory.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jonathan Gagne of the Black Knights. Time and time again, the Black Knights know they can rely on J.Gagne, who went on another scoring frenzy potting a hat trick and a helper on the sudden death winner.

(2)GK Lite vs Punishers (0)
L.Augustin shines for GK Lite in 2-0 shutout win over Punishers
L.Augustin stopped every shot his way as the GK Lite were able to notch a 2-0 shutout win over the Punishers. After a scoreless first period, the GK Lite tacked the first goal of the game onto the score board at the four minute mark of the frame. That was the first of two on the night for P.Genereux with his second coming very late in the contest. The Punishers had plenty of moments to even the score, but Augustin turned all of their bids aside. For how well balanced both teams are offensively, this result showed that the GK Lite can beat you any way possible.
(0)United Armenians vs River Rats(2)
C.Stavriadis pitches shutout as River Rats blank United Armenians
The River Rats masked man stifled the United Armenians after facing 23 shots. The River Rats knew in order to take the win that a grinding effort was required. That game plan was evident-from the get go as everyone committed to a responsible man on man effort. M.Richard opened the scoring while M.Crialese stamped it on a fairly late marker. For a regular season game, this contest had the making of a playoff contest. Both teams played high intensity hockey that resulted in over 30 penalty minutes.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Philppe Genereux of the GK Lite. In a night where goal scoring was scarce, P.Genereux couldn't be denied netting both goals in his club's 2-0 victory over the Punishers.

(3)Band Aids vs Capitals (5)
Capitals use 4 unanswered goals to defeat Band Aids
After conceding the first goal of the evening, the Capitals scored four in a row to beat the Band Aids on Thursday night. The spark was led by M-A Morin, who tied the game before setting up two teammates. The match looked like it was going to be a sure victory for the Capitals up until R.Gore decided otherwise. The Band Aids forward was on a tear bagging all three markers for his club. His third tally unfortunately came a little too late. By pulling out their net minder, M.Champagne solidified the victory with his second in an empty cage.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Ryan Gore of the Band aids. Even though his club didn't get the result, R.Gore gave them a chance by bagging all three goals in the loss.
