Some lack of discipline enable National to split with Left Over's
Unable to address that one very important area of the game, the Left Over's may have let the second match slip away to National. You never want to visit the penalty box, especially in a 4 vs 4 format. National managed to overcome a 2-0 deficit in large part due to their captain M.Pinheiro. The sniper riffled a perfect one timer to level the game for his second and was the only player to score in the shootout on a precise wrist shot. O.Meilleur was involved in all three goals for the Nationals victory. Prior to the second encounter, the Left Over's took the opening game in what was another nail biter till the end. S.Marricco led the charge up front on two goals, but it was K.Miraldo's marker that made the difference as it stood up for the winner.

The Family is starting to stand their ground as they trade wins with HBHA Seniors
Its better late than never and that is the attitude the Family will take-from now on heading into the post season. Even though it's been a struggle, the Family are starting to turn things around, and it couldn't be happening at a better time. Both their games with the HBHA Seniors could have gone either way. The first one did belong to the Family thanks to A.Perrault's two goals along with S.Cavallaro's winner that snapped a 2-2 tie. Much of the ensuing match reflected the first game. This time however, the HBHA Seniors found a way to come out on top. After collecting a pair of first period goals, K.Koutsogiannopoulos set up D.Andrade twice that included the decider of a 4-4 tie.
