(3)GK vs Punishers (0) Game 1
M.Dauphinais tames Punishers in 3-0 shutout win
M.Dauphinais was clearly on top of his game pushing aside every single shot he faced to frustrate the Punishers on Monday night. With both teams playing to a scoreless opening period, it took four minutes into the second frame for T.Pham to finally crack the barrier. The Punishers had their chances and knew the game could have been different if not for Dauphinais stealing the show. It showed that the GK made it a priority to tighten the cord holding on to a very slight margin. Eventually, they did get some breathing room on a pair of late markers.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes Mathieu Dauphinais of the GK. Standing firm and tall between the pipes, Dauphinais was a rock stopping every single ball his way.

(5)Punishers vs GK(2) Game 2
C.Gingras and Punishers dominate special teams to even series
Game 2 of the semi finals up was a special team's battle that the Punishers dominated, both on the penalty kill and on the power play. C.Gingras had a night worthy of a leader on a team with championship aspirations. He participated in four goals, including one shorthanded as part of a hat trick performance. On two occasions, the GK responded to even the score but never managed to grab the lead. It wasn't just Gingras heavily involved in the win as every depth player along with the net minder got the job done. C.Stavriadis was stellar which came to be expected of him going up against a high octane offense. With the series now deadlocked 1-1, the Punishers will need to continue all their right habits if they plan on causing an upset.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Carl Gingras of the Punishers. There is no surprise that if the Punishers were to even the series, that C.Gingras would have his hand in on it. The skilled forward was again an absolute force collecting four points that came in every possible way.
