Wocafloka come alive in third period for 5-3 win over Left Wings

Despite being levelled after two periods, the Wocafloka mustered enough grit and gumption to score a pair of third period goals and escape with a 5-3 victory over the Left Wings. N.Kokovidis and A.Desrosiers were the ones who took over striking within a two minute span. Prior to the third period, Wocafloka got a major contribution-from A.Agudelo, who notched two markers in the second period. The Left Wings overcame two deficits and actually found themselves in front t when J.Tzanetakos snapped a 2-2 tie. It was-from that point on that the Wocafloka showed their killer instinct by talking over with three unanswered goals.

(9)Carnage vs Knights (2)

S.Muscacchio ruins Knights with monster night

It seemed as though every time S.Muscacchio would touch the ball, something was bound to happen. Remarkably, the forward had another incredible night, this time bagging six goals which is one more than his previous performance of five tallies. The Knights clearly weren't aware of his offensive threat. Muscacchio netted his hat trick just before the second period ended while continuing his tear by the third where he buried three more markers. There is no doubt how good of a shooter he is. Unless opposite teams formulate a specific game plan, goaltenders will have a difficult time limiting the damage.

(3)Screaming Eagles vs Fat Roy (4)

Fat Roy stage third period rally to down Screaming Eagles

L.Williams and Fat Roy felt a comeback coming and followed through against the Screaming Eagles. Williams was behind setting up both J.Pantelis and M.DelGaudio that helped put Fat Roy in the driver's seat. The Screaming Eagles played well enough until that point but weren't able to keep a good rhythm heading into the final stretch. They did manage to pepper J.Sanoudakis with ten shots who just wasn't interested in giving up a tally. Fat Roy added a pair key additions entering tonight's contest. D.Lombardi showed he fit in right away by riffling two goals in the first period.

(6)Fatal Demons vs United (4)

Fatal Demons rely on spreading out their attack

Having a spread out scoring attack is what makes the Fatal Demons difficult to play against. It's important because it forces other teams to not be able to just be sold on one or two particular players. It's how the Fatal Demons have kind of always been and it's what makes them sometimes difficult to play against. Tonight's win saw five different players take turns finding the back of the net. M.Chenier was the only player to score twice by opening and closing the scoring. United did hang in there till the very end where they just fell short. A.Tachejian did more than his part in the loss by netting three out of his team's four goals.

(6)Horsemen vs Buckshots(6) S.O

Horsemen salvage their night on two late goals

With the game clicking down, the Horsemen summoned some late magic by scoring twice that included the equaliser with only 11 seconds left on the clock. The Buckshots quickly realised how no lead is ever safe. Both sides were left to deal with some open overtime but were unable to get to the net minders. The shootout did have both sides solve the goaltenders once which led to a stalemate. V.Pandza had collected three points during the match while clicking in the shootout for the Horsemen. As for the Buckshots, M.Thakaa notched their lone shootout marker after scoring once during the game.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Stefano Musacchio of Carnage. In only his second game so far this season, S.Musacchio struck six times and is already at a total of eleven goals.

(3)Mighty Drunks vs Knights (2)

Mighty Drunks stun Knights on two late goals

The Mighty Drunks pulled off a desperate comeback on Sunday night, rallying past the Knights with two late goals. After Y.Dube used his second to tie the game at the eleven minute mark of the third period, K.Miraldo followed up only moments later to pot the winner. The game went through a small see saw effect that saw the Mighty Drunks take the opening period. Then, it was the Knights taking over scoring twice in the second frame thanks to F.Bchara's back to back tallies in a three minute span. Till that point, and well into the third period, the Knights halted the Mighty Drunks offense. Perhaps some fatigue may have played a factor for the late let down. The Knights nearly pulled it off despite having only three changes to their bench.

(0)United vs Wocafloka(7)

Wocafloka cruise to victory over United

Wocafloka put forth an all around effort, handling both sides of the court to cruise to an easy victory. Even though seven different players scored, F.Belisle did pace the offensive charge scoring once while setting up four teammates. United felt they were still in it till perhaps the final stages of the second period when Belisle increased the margin by four goals. Overall, Wocafloka were solid-from start to finish handling every area of the game, including C.Stavriadis pushing aside every ball his way in order to preserve a shutout.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Kevin Miraldo of the Mighty Drunks. With the game on the line, K.Miraldo decided it for the Mighty Drunks after snapping a late 2-2 tie.
