Offensive flood gates open for Stars as Oilers unable to stop the bleeding

It took some time, but the Stars were in full force handing the Oilers quite a loss. Goals came throughout the entire line up, and the Oilers at one point just couldn’t find the formula on how to keep their opponent in check. B.Sorice is a mastermind up front as the clever and slick forward will make everyone around him a better player while he has the ability to bury his own chances . After stringing two quick goals for a 5-2 lead, B.Sorice  decided to take the approach of finding open teammates that led to a fair amount of chances. J.Teresi complemented the offense just as well sparking a hat trick. While the focus was all on the Stars scoring an abundance of goals, they still occupied the other side of the court with cautious. The Oilers were able to put only four behind H.Gebrayel, who was cool and collective earning a nice win in net. M.DiBello was able to figure her out twice while Zachary and J.Gravel notched the other tallies.  

The Allo Mon Coco Ste-Dorothee player of the game goes to Bruno Sorice of the Stars. He makes it look so easy at times that players have a hard time figuring him out. As long as he has a second or two with the ball, B.Sorice will often have a productive night like in this case accumulating five points.

Golden Knights ignite right away in rout of Senators

The Golden Knights had the better start, and even a better finish as they had no issues defeating the Senators on Wednesday night. It looked as though the Senators had found their groove notching three consecutive goals to reduce the gap by two. The score was 6-4 in favour of the Golden Knights by the twenty minute mark of game. It showed that both sides had absolutely no interest on trying to defend leaving their goaltenders out to dry. Unable to make anymore ground, the Senators dug themselves in a much deeper hole with no hope of being rescued. Too many defensive blunders and lapses turned into goals for the Golden Knights. M.Barone and T.Settino were expected to get on the score sheet rather easily as both players shared hat tricks. T.Nardelli chipped in with a pair while setting up four markers. As for the Senators, C.Arnaldo was the most productive collecting three points that included two goals.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste-Dorothee player of the game goes to Mickey Barone of the Golden Knights. From-the get go, M..Barone made plenty happen out there, setting up his clubs first two goals while adding three tallies to complete a hat trick.

Ducks fall flat after mounting a nice comeback

The Ducks knew they had to be patient and not force the issue to much. Unfortunately, they couldn’t apply the simple game early enough as the Hurricanes came in storming on five goals in the first thirteen minutes alone. The only bright spot for such a disastrous beginning for the Ducks was that they had plenty of time to reset and put forth a much better effort. And to their credit, they did just that riding the games next four goals to eventually tie the game. During that stretch, B.Panarello was the catalyst setting up three of the four goals while able to add one later in the contest. Its one thing to battle back -from a deep hole, and its another to try and push the pace in search for a positive outcome. It looked as though the Ducks spent all their energy on just tying the game since they fell behind almost immediately. The Hurricanes took the life out of them on a quick three goals response. All that work of battling back put the Ducks back to square one. No matter how hard they tried to restore some momentum, it just wasn’t happening against a side committed to not repeating the same mistake. N.Macri was able to work his way through to the front of the net a few times where he buried three for a hat trick. A.Farina converted twice, and B.Verducci was significant for the win as the net minder made some nice key stops when the Hurricanes had regained their lead.
