Team Red edges out Team Blue behind J.Choudhry hat trick, winners of Tuesday Draft League

 In what was expected to be a toe to toe affair till the finish line, Team Red closed out the season in style by defeating Team Blue by a very close 4-3 margin. Team Red could not have hoped for a better start , taking the lead as early as the four minute mark. For a very good portion of the game, Team Red were in inspired form playing their best hockey which saw them up 3-1 by the 34 minute mark. Things did eventually start to settle down-from that point on which favoured Team Blue as they slowing inched back into this game. R.DiMarco narrowed the gap by one right before N.Faria buried his second to even the score at three goals apiece. With that turn of events, Team Blue hoped to carry their intensity and domineering attitude only to find themselves down again when J.Choudhry respond with his third goal of the game. There was no doubt that tally really lifted Team Red knowing that they had only two minutes to kill off. Team Blue couldn’t prevent J.Choudhry on this particular night. For sure it helps when you have the right supporting cast. Team Red is a difficult team to contain as they rely on a well balanced group that have different players step up on any given night, including their net minder C.Araujo, who was again brilliant between the pipes. While it did take everyone to pull their weight in order to pull this one off, J.Choudhry had that extra gear for his club, producing three straight goals that influenced the final score.
