Warriors give up four unanswered goals in loss to United Masters
(5)Warriors vs United Masters(6)
Its not about how you start, but how you finish. On Friday night, the Warriors fell victim to the United Masters giving up four straight after carrying 4-1 lead at one point. What made the comeback unexpected was the fact that the United Masters floored a limited roster rotating only three players on their bench. It clearly had no impact on their fatigue and stamina as they found the legs to finish quite strong. Led by their captain, G.Missakian created the snow ball effect by posting back to back tallies. A.Minassian would then tie the game right before D.Charbonneau used two big goals only a minute apart to put his club up by two. There was no question the Warriors were rattled for how things fell apart out of nowhere. In the span of only two minutes, they gave up three straight goals and were unable to recover despite N.Pacheco bagging his second late in the game.
Chiefs recover after slow start, A.Zarzour wrists a beauty to snap 3-3 tie
(4)Chiefs vs Brewers(3)
The Chiefs did what they needed, and clawed their way into the game. They rallied-from a two goal deficit before grabbing their first lead thanks to A.Zarzours perfect wrist shot. Its never ideal falling behind to a team that doesn’t give much. In order for the Chiefs to battle back, they had no choice but to win some one on one battles in order to gain some ball control. To their credit, they didn’t fold and kept at it until some eventual chances would occur. P.Delli Colli kept the game close on some brilliant saves which only encouraged the guys in front of him to do better. With the game all evened up at three goals a piece, A.Zarzour took the opportunity to send a hard precise wrist shot that A.Mancini likely didn’t see. That goal couldn’t have come at better time for a side that committed to drain out the clock.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Gabi Missakian of the United Masters. When his team looked down and out, the captain took charge in a big way, posting back to back goals while setting up two more to cap off a nice four point performance.
