M.Scarpetta powers Team Yellow on 2 big goals

For nearly 40 minutes, nothing was yet figured out between Team Pink and Team Yellow on who would be prevail with the game locked up at two goals apiece. Both sides were hoping for something to give with the game starting to wind down into its final stretch. Then, in only four minutes, Team Yellow went on an offensive tear rattling off three consecutive goals. M.Scarpetta was a big reason for vaulting the win, posting back to back tallies only a minute apart. His two goals came with the help of X.Leclair, who helped set up his clubs last three markers. Since its only the first game of the regular season, players will eventually settle into their roles where they can be effective by developing some chemistry. In tonight’s case, the two sides seemed to gel pretty well overall leaving only a short span making the entire difference during the game. After facing 25 shots, G.Platanitis was sharp allowing only two orange balls behind him.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to George Platanitis of Team Yellow. Allowing only two goals in this type of format says a lot about your goaltending. G.Platanitis never flinched when the game remained close enabling his side to eventually jump ahead and preserve the lead.

Team Black open flood gates in second half to pull away-from Team Green

It looked as though this game was going to remain tight for the entire duration for how close it was throughout the first thirty minutes or so. Goals were being exchanged at a rapid rate, and the goaltenders had their hands full facing plenty of action.  At one point, the game did shift in only one direction with Team Black taking over. The flood gates opened promptly passed the mid way point with Team Black overpowering Team Green. Unable to stop the bleeding, Team Green lost complete grip of the situation having to endure a total meltdown. Many took the opportunity to find the back of the net for Team Black. C.Stamadianos did lead the charge bagging fours goals, A.Daghlian was productive as well converting three times while B.Freitas Pereira buried a pair. Its not like Team Green doesn’t have the artillery up front to do damage with players such as M.Destounis and C.Arnoldo. Maybe the problem for the time being is their play without the ball. If they can tighten up that area, Team Green wont have many issues getting the job done this season.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Chris Stamadianos of Team Black. It didn’t take long for the sniper up front to get to work. In his first game already, Stamadianos sparked his offense with four goals.

Team Blue blow three straight leads in overtime loss to Team Red

C.Fragkiudakis scored in overtime, and Team Red came-from behind a few times to defeat Tem Blue. Things looked grim on several moments for Team Red as they fell twice behind by two goals. To their credit however, they never packed as they kept battling back showing plenty of character. Sure it helps when you have a game changer in your line up. In this particular case, C.Fragkiudakis was that element required in order for something special to happen. The skilled forward had quite a performance , riffling four out of his clubs six goals that included the perfect ending with the overtime winner. You need to be relentless when battling back three times that included twice a two goal deficit. Team Blue know they deserved better since they had command of the game for nearly the entire time. While its easier said than done, if they could have kept a closer eye on C.Fragkiudais out there, things could have turned out very different. They perhaps only realised it a little too late.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Costa Fragkiudakis of Team Red. What more can you say about a player that cashed in four times that included the games biggest goal.

C.Zafiropoulos scores 4 goals, ignites Team Purple’s offense

It’s a team game, but sometimes its nice to have an individual effort that can make that difference. Team Purple got both playing a sound game while getting a masterful production-from their veteran C.Zafiropoulos. Its all about knowing where to be on the court. Some of Team Purples players are familiar with Zafiropoulos, who has a nose for the net, and the coordination to put the ball behind most goaltenders. There was no doubt he got into the game feeling very comfortable out there getting some good support. The only time Team Purple trailed was when B.Monette scored two minutes into the contest. Once Team Purple took the lead, they never faltered it en route to a close 5-4 decision.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Costa Zafiropoulos of Team Purple. It took the forward only 18 minutes to collect a hat trick as part of an impressive four goal display.

Team Brown use strong start thanks to contributions-from everyone

When you have two engines that fuel your offense, the rest will feed off it and only make them better as a group. Team Brown seem to have a nice tandem going with D.Galloro and T.Settino as their go to guys while surrounded by many who will fit in nicely. From-the get go, Team Brown were engaged in this game scoring five of their eight goals in the first eighteen minutes alone. During that span, D.Dalloro did his nights work collecting an early hat trick while setting up M.Russo. Sometimes, when a team takes off right away like Team Brown did, they’ll leave their opponent to dry. That didn’t quite turn out that way. Team White shook off some early dust and started to find their groove as the game went on. Most of the scoring came-from S.Fraga, who scored twice along with two helpers, and N.Macri that was able to collect a hat trick. Despite playing much better after a slow start, Team White couldn’t recuperate having to overcome a large deficit.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Danny Galloro of Team Brown. Fours are wild. D.Galloro was the fourth player to score four goals in Sunday nights action making it only fitting that he merits the honour.
