A.Zakarian hat trick sets the tone as Team Yellow rout Team Purple

(8)Team Yellow vs Team Purple(4)

A magnificent start by A.Zakarian helped set the tone for Team Yellow on Sunday night. His strong start drove his club to control the contest, one where every player bought into a near sound defensive game except for a late lapse where Team Purple strung three goals in only two minutes. Prior to the 40 minute mark, Team Yellow kept deflating their opponent preventing them-from getting back into the game. Its always nice building a sufficient lead. At one point, Team Yellow found themselves up 6-1 before M.Estrela, C.Zafiropoulos and M.Lang scored in a very short span. After posting his hat trick by the 24 minute mark, A.Zakarian still had fuel in the tank adding two more tallies to cap off an impressive five goal game. To his help, A.Mercan was just as influential  providing six out of a possible eight points for his team.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Alex Zakarian of Team Yellow. The power forward provided early momentum rattling off his teams first three goals before adding two more later in the game to cap off a very productive five goal night.

Stellar G.Villeneuve frustrates Team Black

(1)Team Black vs Team White(5)

When a team can do well in front of their goaltender, expect good things to go your way. G.Villeneuve managed to stay sharp in net throughout the entire game, and nearly floored a perfect match if not for giving up one single tally. Giving up only one goal is quite remarkable, and Team White are great full for their net minder stealing the show. While insulated by a good supporting cast, Team White relied on three particular players to get their offense going. T.Nardelli and N.Macri shared three points each while R.Tannous was there to bury a pair. C.Stamadianos needed the 28 minute mark in order to end a dry scoring spell for Team Black. Maybe that was the spark his club needed in order to turn the tides. With the next goal so crucial, T.Nardelli was able to provide it instead for Team White, who never looked back-from that point on.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Guillaume Villeneuve of Team White. Not bad for your last line of defense. Villeneuve was absolutely lights out making a bunch of saves that led to a convincing 5-1 decision.

Team Brown outlast Team Orange in wild and high scoring affair

(8)Team Orange vs Team Brown(11)

When the dust settled, Team Brown prevailed on a wild, wacky what- the- heck- is happening- out- there  ? sort of a night. If you like goals, this was the game to watch. Unfortunately for the goaltenders, they  didn’t quite  have that same enthusiasm. For how often both teams were exchanging goals, this contest was only really decided toward the end where Team Brown had the better finish netting four goals in the last six minutes. Sometimes, L.Bucci will surprise his teammates, and more importantly himself. The sneaky forward seemed to have everything go right for him, striking five times that included two key ones toward the latter stages of the game. D.Galloro and S.Sicuso were also very productive collecting six points each. As for Team Orange, B.Monette and E.Allen did their part combining for eight points.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Larry Bucci of Team Brown. The forward was a big part of the chaos finding himself always at the right spot where he riffled five goals in what was a crazy finish.

Comeback falls short as Team Pink wake up to late

(3)Team Pink vs Team Red(5)

A flurry of quick goals made things interesting, but Team Pink did their homework a little to late versus Team Red. It looked as though that there wasn’t much going to happen after L.Porfido made the score 5-0 by the 34 minute mark of the game. Such a lead after playing a sound defensive game usually suggests for a nice and easy ride till the final buzzer. However, that wasn’t the case with Team Pink rising-from the dead on three quick goals by J.Melo, M.Carbone and M.Paciencia. Out of nowhere, the alarm bells started to sound for a team that thought were in complete control of the situation. If you can tally three times in only two minutes, than having only nine minutes to score twice is the equivalent of an eternity. That being said, Team Red remained composed keeping their cool knowing that S.Catalano wasn’t going to crack in the end.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Santino Catalano of Team Red. He may not have liked the way the game ended, but the net minder was a big reason why his club was able to build a nice lead.

Team Blue pull away after attempted comeback falls short for Team Green

(6)Team Green vs Team Blue(10)

Just when Team Green thought they had a chance of coming back, Team Blue took over once more riding three consecutive goals in only a minute and a half.  J-C Mansour scored on a penalty shot while completing his hat trick seconds later to restore some breathing room on a four goal cushion. The strong start proved to be a key factor for the end result since Team Green kept battling back only to fall behind after a pair of attempts. You have to expect your entire line up to contribute when scoring ten goals . Team Blue saw nearly everyone participate one way or another looking like a team that’s been playing with each other for a while. When referring to chemistry, Team Green have it as well with M.Destounis making everyone around him a better player setting up two teammates while notching one himself.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Jean Christophe Mansour of Team Blue. His two timely goals as part of his hat trick and four point night helped reassure Team Blue in the final stretch.
