Punisher’s firepower proves too much to handle for outmatched Altius

Armadillos strong overall game key to rout of Assadi

Assadi was heading into this match-up looking to generate some much-needed momentum before the playoffs and unfortunately for them, they ran into a stingy defense and red-hot goaltending.  The first period was deadlocked at a goal apiece, but then the Armadillos exploded for the next 4 goals and never trailed till the final buzzer, securing the win and the all-important 2nd place in the division.  Most Impressively in their victory is the fact that the Armadillos used a score by committee approach as 7 different players managed to find the back of the net, with K.Kuczmarski leading the way and their defense mostly limited Assadi’s high danger scoring chances and kept their snipers at bay.  Armadillos will surely look to use this win as a springboard in their quest for the title and as far as Assadi goes, they’ll need to formulate, assess & strategize their game plan accordingly and use this result as a motivator.
