Team White hold up after letting their guard down

(4)Team Purple vs Team White(6)

After a flying start in what looked like a total mismatch, Team White found themselves way ahead grabbing a 6-1 lead just shy of the thirty minute mark. Mathieu Chenier led the charge bagging a hat trick, M.Estrela cashed in on a penalty shot, and G.Villeuneuve didn’t have to pull much of a sweat allowing only one goal. Rather than the game spiralling out of control, the battle tested Team Purple had counterpunched before it was said and done. The next three goals came by C.Zafiropoulos striking twice and R.Santosuoso getting the other. At least a response was there, but it came a little to late. All four goals in the loss came with the help of A.Zafiropoulos as the young talent keeps improving adding three helpers and a goal. It showed that Team White were the ones that came ready to play. Anytime you build such a lead, it usually holds which was the case despite Team Purple showing a lot more bite in the final twenty minutes.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Mathieu. It took only 24 minutes into the contest for Mathieu Chenier to cause plenty damage with a hat trick.

Team Green unable able to protect three consecutive leads in loss to Team Red

(3)Team Green vs Team Red(6)

M.Saia had his hand in providing three leads for Team Green, who ended up on the short side of the stick before the game ended. Every time Team Green would pull ahead , Team Red respond each and every time until finally pulling away in the last ten minutes. That’s when E.Pouliot went into beast mode rattling off three straight markers to cap off an impressive finish. It was perhaps one of those cases that Team Green needed to be more aggressive and build on their slight lead. They had three chances to try and widen the margin, but couldn’t create enough of a gap. Since they haven’t shown much of a strong defensive game so far this season, they almost need to rely on playing an aggressive offensive style in hopes of playing ahead. They almost had it tonight if it wasn’t for E.Pouliot turning the tides in the final stretch.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Eric Pouliot of Team Red. Talk about a strong finish. With the game knotted at 3-3, E.Pouliot went on a tear converting three times in such a short span to help give his side a double up win over Team Green.

Team Orange slump continues, Team Black storm out of gate

(3)Team Orange vs Team Black(8)

Its what you’ll get when you allow at least an average of eight goals per game, a losing record. Team Orange have now given up 25 goals in their last three starts, and despite having some fire power to compensate, it wont be enough to collect wins. When things go this bad, there is always plenty to blame. The easiest position to pick on is the goaltending, but it goes deeper than that . You just cant win playing poorly in your own end. And there shouldn’t be any reason why you give up six straight goals in the first twenty four minutes before finally getting on board. Unless Team Orange figure out how to address their foes, games like this will continue to happen. On the flip side where the grass is much greener, Team Black did plenty right-from the drop of the ball. They made sure to jump out in front while pressing hard for a good portion of the game to putting it out of reach. Although he did not score, Ari Daghlian helped set up four tallies. A.Farina had a nice night collecting a hat trick, M.Papadakis was right there accumulating three points while A.Zardarian had a solid game in net allowing only three goals.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Mary Papadakis of Team Black. Always well positioned, the winger has a nose for the net striking twice while setting up a teammate.

T.Scarpelli powers Team Pink on four goals in back and forth action with Team Blue

(9)Team Pink vs Team Blue(5)

Team Pinks gritty forward scored three consecutive goals in only eight minutes to help power his team to a wild 9-5 victory. T.Scarpelli had scored early on before riding three straight markers at a crucial time during the match. The game remained always within reach for Team Blue, who kept battling keeping it very close. Sometimes there is just no stopping somebody with a hot hand. All it takes is one player that’s feeling it to make a huge difference. With the game fairly close, T.Scarpelli put it to another level in a short period of time. While he is deserving for the havoc he caused, D.Melo merits the credit as well by setting up the forward on all four occasions. Other notables include J.Choudhry and M.Kabassakalina as the two players collected a pair of goals each. As for Team Blue, N.Faria did his part scoring twice.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Tony Scarpelli of Team Pink. If you are Team Pink, you couldn’t have asked more-from your grinding forward. T.Scarpelli is a player that drives the net getting into the tough areas where he often cleans the mess by putting the ball behind the net.

Team Brown mount remarkable comeback overtime win

(11)Team Yellow vs Team Brown(12) O.T

Trailing 9-4 at one point, Team Brown displayed unbelievable resilience and grit, concluding the game on a massive run where S.Sicuso was there to cap it off in overtime. While it goes without saying that you need all your elements to overcome such a deep hole, it did help when your top guns provided the offense required . T.Settino and D,.Galloro were not going to go un noticed in these types of affairs. The two were dynamic which was why the combined for a ridiculous fifteen points complementing each other nearly every time. For a good portion during the early part of the match, Team Yellow showed good intensity to ride there way better start. By the thirty minute mark of this contest, they found themselves up 9-4 by getting balanced production throughout their line up. A.Zakarian, M.Scarpetta, E.Colella and J.Musi all collected two goals each, and things appeared to be going just fine. Then, and for whatever reason, Team Yellow dropped their guard and allowed Team Brown to bounce right back into it. If the focus could have been on trying to slow down your usual suspects in D.Galloro and T.Settino, than maybe they would have prevailed. Instead, the two forwards did pretty much what the wanted, and is a large reason why they overcome such a huge deficit en route to a thrilling overtime finish.

The Allo Mon Coco player of the game goes to Tony Settino of Team Brown. Since this game saw both sides provide an abundant of goals, its only fitting that T.Settino deserves the acolytes as the forward was unstoppable scoring four times as part of  an eight point performance.
