Winter Soldiers determined for a full 45 minutes

C.Zafiropoulos knew that his team was ready to play on Thursday night. The Winter Soldiers increased discipline allowed them to play and find their offensive rhythm as the game went on. Penalties weren't an issue, much to the delight of Zafiropoulos, who kept his troops in line throughout the entire contest. After grabbing a 3-2 first period lead, the Winter Soldiers used two late goals in the second to take control heading into the final stretch. Five different players took turns finding the back of the net while J.Sanoudakis was stellar not surrendering a goal in the last half of the game. It showed that the Winter Soldiers were primed by hounding the ball, reloading and doing all the little things right.

Legacy have no words after horrific third period

You can hang this one on everybody wearing a Legacy jersey in a game that was tied 2-2 after two periods and somehow ended up finishing 8-2 for the Bramabulls. Legacy always rely on a collective agreement where everyone buys in game in and game out. And while this is applied regularly, the same couldn't be said for tonights horrible third period. The team collapsed faster than a 10$ pup tent-from Walmart in front of C.Stavriadis. But as good as Stavriadis was through two periods, the net minder just wasn't sharp enough in a short period of time. The Bramabulls kept pouring it on one goal after the other. J.Mandracchia seems to get a second wind as games progress. The highly skilled forward saved his best for last once again striking twice in the third period to complete his hat trick.

K.Kavan timely goals power Legends past Toyota Candiac in overtime

If scoring the tying goal with only three seconds left on the clock was good enough, the overtime winner was just the icing on the cake for K.Kavan. The Legends appeared to be down and out after nearly missing out on a glorious power play that lasted for almost the entire third period. Surprisingly enough, it was A.Dayan of the Toyota Candiac that scored instead during that time. His shorthanded tally nearly gave the Toyota Cardiac an unexpected victory,that was up until K.Kavan rescued his club on two clutch tallies as part of his hat trick. M.Destounis contributed with three helpers while R.Ranieri had no choice to be very good in net in order to capture the win.

Ali Khanafer hat trick propels Fitforce Phoenix win over Blast

With neither side having an edge after two periods, the Fitforce Phoenix came out on a mission in the third.  The span of three minutes was all it took for Ali Khanafer and Hadi Khanafer to score and provide a two goal cushion. That was Ali Khanafer's third goal of the game. This outcome comes as only the second win of the season, a result that will surely give confidence to every Fitforce Phoenix player. On the other hand, the Blast has had their up and down moments throughout six games but won't be too concerned after tonight's loss, especially without a few key components missing-from their line up.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Kevin Kavan of the Legends. The skilled forward produced his latest breath taking performance by netting a hat trick that included a very late equaliser and the sudden death winner.
