This past weekend in Paris at the ISBHF AGM meetings Mr. George Gortsos from Ontario was voted as the new President of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation. The vote was unanimous and had the full support of the International membership.

Tony Iannitto from Quebec was also unanimously voted in as VP of the ISBHF Board member who will be in charge of Marketing.  This veteran of the ISBHF since its inception will add to the team approach being brought forward with his experience and will carry Canada's vote in board meetings.

Both will now serve the ISBHF and all its members for the next two years.Mr. Gortsos presented a mandate that included a more communicative approach, a much safer game , and a continued growth at our youth levels. Finally a more collaborative team approach of running the World association.  
These mantra's were created in synergy and in discussion with the new CBHA Board and brought with Mr.Gortsos across the Ocean to our World partners. Of note is the fact that all four of the main board's of our sport being Switzerland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic all totally supported and were agreement with every point presented.  This above anything else signals a willgness to tackle the challenges that lay ahead to make the game grow as a International family.
The CBHA is proud now to have provided the ISBHF its third President. The CBHA wishes George Gortsos all the best in his new endeavour.
