Team Armenia’s deep roster overwhelms Team Italy
(7)Team Armenia vs Team Italy(2)
From-the outset, it was clear that Team Armenia had come prepared, utilising their depth and versatility as they cruised to a commanding victory over a formidable Team Italy squad. Their well rounded line up allowed them to rotate seamlessly, keeping their energy levels high and their opponents on their toes throughout the game. Despite facing a strong Team Italy squad, Team Armenia wasted no time asserting their dominance on the court. Although the first period remained relatively close, Team Armenia started to pull away in the second, padding their lead with three more unanswered goals. Finally, J.Crivello got Team Italy on board early in the third period, but it didn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things. Team Armenia continued to apply more pressure which resulted in ball possession that saw their captain Y.Derohannessian rattled off a hat trick. As much as Team Italy fought valiantly to compete, they were no match for the depth put forth by a committed Team Armenia.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Sam Rivest of Team Haiti. Rivets’s acrobatic saves and unwavering focus provided a solid foundation for Team Haiti to build on, instilling confidence in their defensive efforts and allowing their offensive talents to shine.
