St-Eustache surrender six in a row in deflating loss to Dek Lanaudiere

After nearly ten minutes of scoreless action, C.Farmer finally put St-Eustache on board. It seemed by that point the St-Eustache were in control of the situation for how well they were frustrating their opponent. Then, it quickly unraveled. In the span of only 20 seconds, William Despard and K.Gadoury each scored and all of a sudden Dek Lanaudiere flipped the script with lots of promise ahead of them. Much of the Dek Lanaudiere offense came off its fore-check that created trouble for the Dek St-Eustache in their own zone at several points during the game. K.Gadoury put the St-Eustache further in a hole when potting his second for a 4-1 lead. There was no doubt the St-Eustache couldn’t find enough consistency. They played well enough for one period before getting deflated by the second and final frame. E.Valiquette also had a multi goal night along with a helper while L-SVienneau was firm between the pipes allowing one goal on 16 shots.
Dek Boucherville roll past Le Rinque with late surge

Throughout plenty of back and forth action, this contest needed its entirety to see where it was headed. It took a very late tally-from O. Levasseur to finally convince everyone that the Dek Boucherville would prevail in the end. Le Rinque managed to grab a pair of leads but weren’t able to hold them long enough. Eventually, the wheels on the bus fell off when S.Pinard snapped a fairly late tie for his second of the night. Entering tonight’s game, both teams had plenty to prove to one another for who will be the front runners of the Dek Elite division. And despite it being early in the season, the Dek Boucherville are starting to get some serious attention on how forceful they will be .Tonight, they demonstrated that they can compete with Le Rinque aka GK by defeating them in their own territory. Clearly, they are headed in the right direction and have already earned the recognition as perhaps the team to beat. There line up will rely on many skilled players such as M-A Trudeau, who got the ball rolling netting his clubs first two goals, S.Proulx who matched his performance, J.Tanguay setting up a pair of markers and many others that will contribute on any given night.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to S.Pinard of the Dek Boucherville. His second tally couldn’t have come at a better time. S.Pinard snapped a late 4-4 tie to help lead his team over a lethal Le Rinque side.
